My small kitchen cabinets have non-adjustable shelfs requiring many items to be put in smaller containers. These jars would be perfet to replace boxes, etc that don’t fit the shelfs.
Thank you for your post. I so love the Red White and Blue and meaning it holds. I would use mine for a get together with family and friends for a special eatable gift for them to take home on Memorial Day or the Fourth of July. Thank you
I would use them to sort crafts, buttons, and more in addition to storing foods like grains and legumes as I am also an avid cook.
Balls jars provide wonderful storage in my kitchen, pantry, sewing room and I like to use them as vases. I use them everywhere! And thanks for the tip on storing strawberries in Ball jars and the link for the frogs.
Hi Mary,
I love Ball jars and find them so versatile. I would use them for fairy light jars, canning carrots, storing buttons, etc. These are beautiful and so is your tables and blog.

Getting ready for the patriotic celebration especially for this year. So happy to see these and all of your great ideas. Love the wooden tops and the flower frogs! Would love to add these to my red,, white and blue. Thanks for the opportunity
I am retired and have been wanting to learn how to preserve by canning and these beautiful jars would be a great way to start!
I’ve followed your blog for years now. Every post is so beautifully photographed and inspiring. I could never have as many pieces to duplicate your beautiful tablescapes, but I love looking at them. The jars would be used for yogurt parfaits and for lemonade for the July 4th. But flower arrangements are another choice. I pinned the flower arrangement with the blue hydrangeas taken from above. I wanted to be able to see all the flowers so I can add them to my garden. I so enjoy seeing your post in my email. I know it’s time to just relax and enjoy some beauty. Thank you!
I have bought Ball Jars specifically for canning purposes but like your article I have found many more uses for them. The new jars would be great for July 4th cocktails and flowers.
These are very sweet jars. I’d use them as vases for the 4th of July, then can some nice jellies in them after that. I’m a long-time subscriber, too.

I would use these jars for dry good storage and organization in my pantry.
Although I have followed your blog for years, this one SPOKE to me and brought back fond memories of canning with my mother and grandmother (who gifted me her 2 quart canning jars before she passed many years ago). I love using jars for my art, where my lovingly used paint brushes reside, and I love making special labels to add to canning jars! . I pinned the jars themselves to Pinterest as well as the peonies in one, so I would not forget them. Thank you so much, Mary.
Love all these choices, that strawberry drink is so festive. I pinned the red, white and blue dessert.
So many Americana options, it is hard to decide which is a favorite. I looked up buntings after viewing again your

Thank you for this opportunity!
I love using Ball jars for specificly designated jars: some for flowers, the majority for food storage, food gifts or food freezing: cooled chicken soup, spaghetti and meatballs, stews etc.
Ball jars are my go to for so many things. For drinks with straws, for flowers and desserts. Thank you for opportunity to win these special ones.
Mary. Love your inspirations! I would use them for our family reunion on the 4th this year. Growing up with great grandparents and grandparents ( aunts& uncles) that immigrated from Germany we have lots of pictures from 1895 and on with their 4th of July celebrations in America. The businesses they built, 4th of July parades etc. We are sending out invitations with old pics of them and would put a tag line … “we are going to have a Ball !” And use the jars for containers for give aways. – to include old family canning recipes, family keepsakes and save one for our centerpiece to decorate . All the comments above are great!
I pinned Stars and Stripes Berry Trifles for Memorial Day and The 4th of July!
I would fill the Mason Jars and use them as indoor and outdoor party table decor for The 4th of July and spread the joy by having guests and family take them home.

Mary, beautiful post! Mason jars are a favorite! I won a set of the jars with bees awhile back. And I ordered a set of the patriotic jars too! I use them for seashells at the beach and for flower arrangements. I’m ordering the lids for jars so I can pour salad dressings more easily.
I pinned the Stars and Stripes berry trifles.
Thanks for all the ideas for using mason jars!
I would never know about the variety of Ball jars available if it weren’t for your posts. These are adorable and perfect for the upcoming 250th celebration year. My parents were very patriotic and I remember my mom planting all red white and blue flowers in her garden for the bicentennial. She loved daisies so I would use these jars to create a daisy bouquet along with a bit of red and blue mixed in. I also use these jars for making overnight oats. I think they would be especially nice with blueberries, raspberries and strawberries added in. I love the looks of your strawberry frose and will be pinning that idea. Also love the Christmas candle idea. Will definitely pin that. Thanks for all of the inspiration you provide, Mary.
Mary, another inspiring post that I will return to time and time again. :)
I would use the Ball jars for drinks and flower arrangements! On second thought, silverware, straws and napkin storage, would be useful too! Sooo fun!
Thank you!
