    Mary,
Your tablescapes are always awesome, but what I like in particular, is that you always prepare food items to go with your themes. All of your tablescapes would make such a nice book!

Just wanted to stop by and tell you that I went to Big Lots – M-ville, the day after C-mas, and found a hardback book (for $3) called, “The Richest Season” by Maryann McFadden. I thought for sure I had read a edible book review by you on it b/c your loggerhead turtle post looked very similar to the cover, but was in Myrtle Beach over the weekend, and couldn’t look it up on my cell phone to see for sure. The book is set in Pawley’s Island and some of it is about protecting loggerhead turtles. Telling you all this b/c if you haven’t read it, I think you might enjoy it, and since you’re local, it’s an inexpensive read.

make that ‘an edible book review. Sorry!

Happy New Year to you and yours. XO, Pinky

Mary, I could never single out just one of your tables as a favorite. I’d be hard pressed to even begin to rate them. Each one is uniquely a star all it’s own. I want to order a book of your blog. LOL I could revisit these tablescapes again and again. So much inspiration! Thanks for generously sharing your passion and talents. How fun to review your work and see how you reuse pieces in new and clever ways. My favorite are your white bird plates. I must find some of my own. And of course, with your tables, the key is location, location, location. You are living the DREAM. Thanks for sharing. ~CJ

I think I’ve said this before, at least I’ve said it in my head:
You should publish a coffee table book with your table settings. It would be a best seller.

    And I truly mean that.

  25. January 6, 2012 at 7:35 am

Mary! And Chloe and Gracie too!!! We are so THRILLED to receive all of these beautiful surprises! Can’t wait to read the book! The girlz loved the cookies and the stuffies! Hi Mary,

I so enjoyed ALL of these tables. I agree with you about your inspirations for tables. I’m inspired by all those things too, but my inspiration doesn’t manifest itself nearly as beautifully as yours does. :) BTW, I love Home Goods, too.

Thanks for sharing this recap and best wishes to you in 2012!

Hard to pick a favorite out of all the creative settings – I got sidetracked looking at the Gardener’s Christmas too…so sweet.

Could you share your secret? How do you store all the items used for each unique table?

How to pick my favorite? I can’t even begin.
