Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

because they are much sweeter. . .

. . . and less high maintenance

when they sleep :)

AND because they get up at 4 am and DEMAND you get up too~

Hope you can sleep in or

Bonnie Blue woke Trip and me up at 8AM. MEH! We wanted to sleep in a bit. :/

Such cute pups. They look so sweet while sleeping.

Maizy sleeps very quietly next to me until I open my eyes. This morning she had to wait a while as I slept about 2 hours later than usual catching up a bit from burning the midnight oil preparing for next weekend’s show. Your pups are such good subjects.

you will never guess what i found yesterday… 2 c&g’s… poor things are so abused, i think puppy mill boys just tossed out of a car. i spent 7 hours trying to cut the 6″ mats off their entire body, only 30% done… heart breaking, i will spare you all the horrid other gory other details, when i woke up this morn to walk them at 5:30 i thought of your sweet pretty girls, i wonder if their transformation will ever come :-( trying to find them homes, they may be beach boys, but that is iffy… pray for them, they are so sweet, i want them to live the life of your girls forever more~

Chloe and Gracie are so sweet!!! My Keeper sleeps exactly like they do and she LOVES blankets and pillows, but most of all, sleeping between my husband and me so she’s able at all times to be touching both of us. Nothing compares to it!!
    Have a great weekend!

Oh Mary, I ALWAYS love your Chloe and Gracie posts (my parents’ yellow lab is named Gracie, BTW). These pictures are so funny to me. Our MacDuff often sleeps like the doggie at the back of the chair in picture #3 — head turned to the side, belly and back legs turned up. Too funny. :-D

Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!

They are so cute! Dogs do know how to be comfortable! We had my granddog overnight and he doesn’t know our routine–when the sun comes up, you get to go out, but then you go back to sleep for an hour! He just sat by the bed and watched me sleep.

Your babies are just the cutest things! Our Lucy gets my husband up at 4 AM, too. I’ll have to admit that I don’t hear a thing. (wink-wink!)

Mary, I agree that we should let sleeping dogs lie. I have tried to sneak in the house with a grocery bag, so my sweet pooch won’t greet me at the door and stick her snout in the bag ;o) Doesn’t work! You have small dogs, but imagine my Boxer standing up on our bed AND staring at “me” to get “me” to wake up. Some of the most precious photos are of the dogs sleeping.

4 AM, I think we need to have a talk with these two. ;-)
Sadie was getting me up at 6:30 or 7, but now I put her in bed with us and she lets me sleep till 8 or sometimes a bit later. Of course, she sleeps much of the day. Enjoy your Sunday. It is a beautiful weekend here!

I’m roaring with laughter here as Elle is doing the exact same thing right now! She only gets up once a night to run out side to “take care of business” & then she’s back to bed until we get up (whatever time that is). She’s a BED HEAD! Thanks for sharing enjoy your Sunday & have a great week!
