Lots of fun little tidbits to see Mary, like-I love the pinecones in your glavanized M! It was a fun year seeing how you transformed the potting shed into a grown up outdoor doll house, I’m so glad the move went smoothly. I can’t wait to hear about what publication you’ll be in… You know what pic caught my eye the most? The little wheelbarrow full of veggies and dip! I don’t know if that speaks to my love of dip or my body trying to tell me it’s time to cut back and eat more veggies! Looking forward to 2015:@)

Your taste mirrors mine to a “t” but you’ve got the designer’s eye to pull it all together in a way that makes me drool. I’m also in love with the setting and plan to check out Lake Norman soon.

Love the garden shed, so inspiring with so many ideas to try. May I ask where you found the lattice galvanized
    garden stool? It is beautiful.

    • January 9, 2015 at 7:11 am

Thanks Emmie! The galvanized stool came from HomeGoods :)

Love the year in review! So much went on last year, so nice to reflect on all your decorations, so simple and yet so beautiful. Keep it coming, I need the inspiration! Have a great day!

The photo of your potting shed dangling in the air makes my nerves tingle every time I see it! What a year full of memories, Mary, a calendar of the seasons, day after day of delight and decoration! Your posts always leaving me smiling, and this is especially true when they include your magical potting shed…how far is it from your house? If I had to name a favorite post I couldn’t, if I had to name a favorite season I wouldn’t, and if I had to name a favorite photo I shouldn’t ever be able to choose! Will there be a snowy scene in the future, stay cozy!

Thanks, this was sweet therapy for me today to view the charm of the shed in all its many “dresses”. What a delightful vice. Since I have not been following you for long, now I will go back & investigate the early “shed” days. I must tell a couple of friends, esp. my “dog loving” ones. Your tables are so well done, it does not matter if one does not dine at each and every one.

I love your shed and am in shed-envy. I finally got my hunny bunny to agree that I need one for my stash. If he ever wants his garage back. BUT, we live in a small condo and while we have a backyard & side yard, I cannot have one quite the size as yours. So my father gave me the cost of materials for Christmas and my hunny bunny will build it to fit. I plan on it going besides our wine barrel waterfall and my over grown lavander bush. But I have shown him lots sof pictures of your shed and he knows what my goal is. I plan on using our local ReStore for windows and more.
    See you around the shed…

I Love <3 EVERYTHING about your Potting Shed, just beautiful pictures, makes me smile just looking at them…:)

  14. January 9, 2015 at 9:18 pm

Oh Mary, Mary quite NOT contrary…I love how your garden (shed) glows!!! Haha!
Seeing all those GORGEOUS spring flowers & the incredibly creative way you’ve displayed them just makes me melt. I wish it would make the Snow melt, too. Gosh, but it is wicked cold up here today. I went out today & even with a furry knit hat, big scarf, hooded insulated coat, sweatpants, FUGH boots (that’s fake UGS) & gloves, I was STILL frozen when I got home!! Hurry up Spring!
I adore your dishes & all your unique containers & the really great ideas you come up with when combining them. *sigh* Thanks for truly helping to brighten my world with every post.

Mary, your garden shed is the place where happiness is born. It’s a joy to see your creativity “bloom” through the seasons. I love how I keep discovering little gems, like the dish blooming tree, and your chalkboard sayings are beautiful and make me feel like a welcome guest. I can’t wait to see the article! Stay warm this weekend!

Such a lot of inspiration, Mary. We will have to come up with some sort of potting shed in the new-old house and I often think of yours. The Great Dane has had heard a lot of ‘come see this’ over the past year of looking at your posts about your little potting shed.
