It’s 114 today here so summer has definitely arrived. Heading out to the local organic farm to pick fresh fruit and veggies in about 15 minutes.

Mary, I think you are extraordinarily talented. You and Molly of remedial reading, are my very different and very favorite bloggers. I am forwarding this post to my daughter, I want her to see the “Fishing for Cupcakes” and the turtles, er loggerheads. Happy days lady!

I’m so glad you posted all of these recipes! I’m planning to make the Pasta Salad. Do you think the decorative pasta shapes (bells , flags, etc.,) found at specialty shops will work out nicely in this recipe? Thank you!! Debbie

Oh Mary, to begin with the farmer’s market mural and table is such a perfect way to kick off summer! I have to tell you that your tomato centerpiece table is my all time favorite and is one of the things that inspired my starting a blog~ I adore all your beachy, sandy scapes and recipes, and your precious pups swimming and boating. What a super summer round-up, you make magic with your creative and beautiful posts, worthy of revisiting again and again~ Happy Summer!!

Ohhh how I love tomatoes !! You sure seem to have a colorful summer, everything looks so yummy, and a must try for sure!! The minnow keeper reminded me of my daddy fishing days so very long ago, but what a nice picture to see here on Fathers Day.

love the brick wall, the dogs, the food, everything as always fantastic, thank you!

  22. June 24, 2015 at 10:07 am

You asked what my favourite thing about summer was. Mine is the loooong days, In the UK, the sunrise is 4:45 am and the sun sets at 9:30. I love having 17 hours of daylight!

My favorite thing about summer is sitting on the deck with my morning coffee breathing in the fragrance of all my fresh herbs.

  24. July 5, 2015 at 5:19 pm

What wonderful ways to celebrate summer, the tablescapes are probably my favorite, but wow, peach and prosciutto together? That sounds like a fantastic combination that I have never thought of before. Your pictures of swimming in the lake make me anxious to get up North. No swimming in the lakes in Florida for me! I would love it if you would stop by and share this or one of these fantastic posts (like the peach and prosciutto), or even a couple of them at my new link party! Check it out at Celebrate and Decorate! I will be back again at the ‘boat’ again this week, I am sure, I never miss a post, you always inspire me1
