Savannah~ One Flowerpot at a Time

A weekend visit to Savannah, Georgia had us enjoying a city chock full of history. . .

Live Oaks with Spanish Moss. . .

 decorative Wrought Iron. . .

Churches. . .

 River Views. . .

and Great Food.

What we consumed in calories, we expended in sweat, walking around the squares, with temps around 98 and a heat index of 110 !

It also allowed us sneak peaks into courtyard gardens.

And of course, I couldn’t leave without purchasing a book as a keepsake for my trip.

That’s a wonderful tour of Savannah. I’ve always wanted to visit there. Thanks for focusing on the ivy-covered stairs. I was wondering how they train it to do that but I guess that a gardener can accomplish almost anything. But what upkeep! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yours is a fun find. Jane F.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I love Savannah and your pictures have reminded me it has been a while since I visited. I think it is time to bump up my trip there. I was not planning on going until next spring…

Thank you for the tour of Savannah! ~ Tracy

Oh, how beautiful. I think I have some of the same pictures. I love Savannah. Its one of my favorite places. I’ve been several times. I think we are going sometime this summer. Can’t wait to see all the gardens. I would love to be there in early spring when it isn’t so hot.

But we are southeners we know how to survive the heat (I live in GA, too)
