I haven’t been to Key West for over 30 years, but it looks like the essentials are still all there. It’s a good thing we have finally got the sun over on this coast or this gorgeous post might have put me over the edge – I’d be packing a bag and heading for those latitudes!

    LOVE that t-shirt!!! Cute post!
All the years we lived in FL (almost 10) we never got down to the Keys. ~~see Rettabug pounding her head against the desk~~ *big sigh* Maybe someday………….

As your photos show, Key West has spectacular sunsets. One of Hemingway’s cats?

Sounds and looks like my sort of place with such fantastic sunsets. :)

My husband’s cousin’s favorite place was Key West. When he died suddenly, his wife and young children took his ashes to rest eternally in Key West. I can see by your gorgeous photos what the draw must have been for him.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful place. The sunsets there are amazing. Wish I had one of those T-shirts! My husband has a Hogs Breath T-shirt and wears it all the time.

It’s been 20 years since I’ve been in Key West….the first time was when I was 12 and had landed there on a Q Airways direct flight from Havana to Key West and one of my cousins was the pilot….My grandmother and I stayed at the home of old Conchs friends of hers…. The last time I had been in the States (Atlanta) before that time, I was 4 years old and could not remember much from the early trips, so my 12 year old self was not impressed with Key West as I thought it looked a lot like what I had left behind at home ;-) ….how times change….I love Key West now…it’s a fun place.

Wonderful photos! We visited there several years ago, and plan to go back, but never in the summer! Way too humid for these two Tucsonans!

Always has been on my wish list of places to visit and me born in Miami – how close is that!!? Getting there from Northern Wisconsin now would be more of a challenge.
