I’m at the bottom of the apple barrel with Novel Baking recipes this week,

and I didn’t begin to skim the surface of all the ones I’ve pinned and

virtually sampled the past few months.

It’s a good thing cyber calories don’t count :)

I am glad cyber calories don’t count either. I love your apple dish towel a perfect backdrop for Apple Week. I do want to make the granola and the caramel sauce. I bought my first Honeycrisp apple that I remember buying this week. I want to learn all the names of the different varieties of apples. You get my mind whirling. I emailed a picture to you from my phone. Hope it went through but iCloud may not have deleted your old email address from my phone. Great pictures of all your goodies.

I get the Southern Living mag, but only see the recipe for Apple Brandy Caramel sauce which is on page 101 of the September issue of 2015. It is nothing like what you have posted here. Just wondering if it was this year’s Sept issue or perhaps another’s? Regardless, thanks for posting the cider one. That’s the one I am interested in.

This post was back in 2013. I’ve made the Apple Brandy Caramel sauce too for an Easy Caramel Apple Cake here. Of the two, I prefer the Apple Cider Caramel Sauce :)
