Watching the Storm Roll In

We’ve had afternoon and early evening

thunderstorms almost everyday this week. . .

Fascinating to watch them brew and build

from a safe distance on the shore.

Some of us enjoy watching. . .

And some of us don’t.

And it’s a wonder some

of us can see :)

Wishing you a

storm free weekend. . .

Or a least a

rainbow or two :)

Thank you for your visit!

Love the expression on the Bichon’s face — and I know it so well. For the doggies, storms are mostly not fun.

Really tumultuous weather here, too! Driving in that rain and then seeing all those clouds turn PINK…how much goes on that we don’t see…. Happy FLAG DAY!! franki

I LOVE watching storms roll in…as a child, I always wanted to stand outside on the porch when it rained. Mother Nature is just so awesome!
Great photos, Mary & I loved the poochie mug shots…so expressive. LOL
Pat the Puppies for me, please?

Such beauty shots, from fur to sky… Scott called from store, he saw your thundershirt and thought Katie needed it… she was just spayed, no running or swimming for 2 weeks, she’s has tons of stored energy like a nuclear power plant , told him no, time will pass and she can vent again, thundershirt will always remind me of your girl :-)

I adore rainbows and full moons. The moon was beautiful last night. Hope you saw it.

You captured the storm so well. We have so many trees back and front that I miss those views. Lake shots are lovely of the storm approaching and the beautiful rainbow.

    Sweet shots of your girls.

My Bichon let’s us know the storms are coming before we hear or see them. Keen hearing! We are also having our daily summer Forida showers that the grass and flowers love. The sky’s are so ominos and fascinating ! Love it!☔

Love you blog. My 11 year old and I are making those cute little sailboat cupcakes you posted a few weeks back. We are bringing them to my mom’s for Father’s Day tomorrow. Will let you know how they turn out! Love your doggies too!

The pups are so cute. My Border Collie does of like any kind of loud noises, car backfiring, and firecrackers.
Great pictures of the storm forming over the lake.
    Have a great weekend.

Sweet post, Mary. After a week and a half of storms, I’m happy to report that there’s nothing on the radar headed our way (we’re at our lake cabin this weekend).

    Have a lovely weekend!

Beautiful shots of the storm rolling in. We had a scary night of wild thunderstorms on Thursday. Miss Sadie was glued to my side for hours. Fortunately no damage here, but there was lots of tree damage in my neighborhood. Mother Nature is not to be taken lightly. Have to admit, even I was frightened Thursday night. Hope Chloe wasn’t too distressed with all the storms.
All the best for a storm free weekend……….Sarah & Sadie

Aw,The Brat was not a fan of thunderstorms! You’re right Mary, they’re a little easier to handle on land… I remember one popping up during a trip on the Chesapeake that was VERY frightening, lots of bailing water too… Give The Girls and hug for me:@)

We live on a lake in SC and we’ve had the same things this week! It’s 6:30 p.m. and believe it or not, no clouds on the horizon (yet)! What state are you in? Love reading all your posts!

Aww, your babies are probably relieved that there were no storms today. We only got rain yesterday and it was welcomed! Love your photo of the rainbow!

What an awesome array of photos!! The weather photos are very telling of the storms!! We had such terrible storms while we were in the Carolinas…in April! The rainbow is beautiful…and of course…may favorite white fluffs!! Hugs to Chloe and Gracie!!

I love watching storms on my screened in porch. Such adorable dog pictures- made me smile! Susan @ Romancing the Home

One of my favorite things is to watch the weather change over the water and see the storms develop~from a safe distance of course, preferably on the porch where I can run inside when the first drop of rain falls. Your precious pups look totally put out about the whole thing, like it’s totally spoiling their fun and perhaps a boat ride! The rainbow shot is fabulous!
