Your posts are always beautiful, inspiring and oh so much fun to read! We are leaving on Monday to go camping in Idyllwild, CA. We are having unseasonably chilly weather for Southern California. It is snowing. In the mountains. In Southern California. In May. Certainly wacky weather. My ex hubby and I have 6 dogs between us – wish us luck, as 2 have never experienced snow. Cats, bird and Dragon are staying home with the pet sitter. They may get the better deal! 🌞

Mary, I can attest to how yummy these recipes are as I have made most of the them over the years…that’s alot of calories, LOL! Your Berry Layered Cake is always a hit and I turned my neighbors on to it a few years ago. People always ooh and aah when they see and it couldn’t be simpler. My sweet Cockapoo, Bailey, is thrilled when I make her some of your frozen Star-Spangled Treats. Thank for sharing your time and talent with us. Wishing you a Happy Memorial Day weekend! 🐾 🇺🇸

Always love when you do a patriotic post gets me in the mood for the holiday. Our downtown community celebrates the 4th of July in a big way. Many of the out of town residents fill their houses with guests as do the rest of us and have a huge picnic. I fixed your trifle recipe one year and got rave reviews, thank you. We made the trip to Manteo by boat and are here for a few days. Saw a tee shirt in the general store
with a quote on the back that said “Don’t ask a local for directions we Lost a Colony”. Have to have one.

oooooo Mary, I don’t mean to be cruel, but I really miss the dog of your heart. Your new baby is beautiful but I miss seeing your other fur baby. Sorry.

We miss her too. It’s hard to believe Chloe’s been gone over a year now. We say goodbye to Gracie in March this year…it’s been so hard. We’re thankful to have Lola to love and keep us busy.
