Anyone else finding it hard to believe that Easter is less than two weeks away?!
Just between you and me, I prefer when Easter falls later in April,
when the azaleas and dogwoods are in bloom and milder weather
is on the menu for Easter egg hunts and outdoor dining!
🌸 🐇 🐣

To create a spring blooming centerpiece for the table, I used a favorite fluted edge
ceramic bowl purchased at Pier 1 many years ago.
My bowl is aproximately 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep.

This is an easy and affordable method to create a spring blooming centerpiece using
potted spring bulbs from the garden center. . .daffodils, hyaciths and / or tulips.
You could also use mini potted azaleas or Easter Lilies usually available in the grocery store
the week before Easter.

Potted bulbs are an affordable alternative to cut flowers for your table, as your
bulbs can be planted in the garden to enjoy next spring after the blooms fade.
Use the bowl or basket of your choice for this easy arrangement; I’ve even used a soup tureen.
Leave the bulbs in their original pots if you have room in your container,
or remove them from their pots to make room and ‘plant’ more together.
Top them with paper shred or Easter basket ‘grass’ to conceal your pots and dirt
and provide to provide a colorful nest to tuck in some decorative eggs.

Add some candy or chocolate bunny as a fun surprise and edible Easter addition!
I found the chocolate bunnies at Dollar Tree.

Pastel plaid checks provide a foundation for the table in Easter egg hues. . .

Chicks are masquerading as bunnies for Easter, wearing bunny ears. . .

And bunny-eared chicks serve as napkin rings, holding colorful check napkins,
as well as flatware for the table.

Bunnies and chicks hopped to the table in the form of salad plates for Easter. . .

Bunny egg cups hold decorative eggs. . .

And Easter favor bags offer sweet treats as well as a vintage-inspired
Easter greetings at each placesetting.

Good Morning, Mary, on this very cold 30°(feels like 21) start for ushering in spring. It’s a good thing those adorable chicks are wearing the bunny ears to keep their little heads warm! They are just too cute. Your centerpiece is a star here, so pretty with the spring variety of plants to be able to plant later. I love doing that, but mine has never looked so good as yours. That fluted bowl, the decorative shred and bunny really take it to the next level. And those postcards with the goody bags – what a great way to be able to share the vintage look (thanks for that and other sources). I love the one of the two bunnies hugging. Beautiful plates and spring color on the table. I’m okay with Easter being early, but Mother Nature’s mood seems to always be questionable for events this time of year. Thank you for bringing all the feels of a sunny and warm day to your spring / Easter table. I’d love spending time around your table any day.
Mary your Easter table is a stunner as usual. The little chicks with bunny ears are adorable and I really like the Hilltop Garden salad plates. The attention to detailing on them is perfect. The Mikasa Cameo Gold flatware are a nice compliment to the pastel plaid napkins and tablecloth. I love the idea of using the Easter postcards as they add a nice touch to your table. It never gets old as your inspiration is endless. Happy Easter and lets keep on hopping.💜
Mary, what a lovely Easter table! Love the salad plates and all the little chicks!
The easy centerpiece will be perfect for a non-talented flower arranger like me to do!! And it’s so pretty and fresh looking.
I really appreciate seeing the photos as you create. Many thanks!
The first thing that caught my eye is your tablecloth filled with spring colors! So pretty! Your centerpiece is lovely and the paper grass is a clever addition. Your tables are always so inviting and festive and this one is certainly perfect to welcome in spring.
Good morning, Mary! It is a cold welcome to spring here with frost. That is a beautiful flower arrangement in the fluted bowl with potted spring bulbs. I know the hyacinths bring a sweet scent to your table. The pastel plaid tablecloth in Easter egg hues is the perfect foundation for your bunnies and chicks table. How adorable are the bunny-eared chicks napkin rings holding check napkins and flatware. Mary, I don’t remember seeing the PB Hilltop Garden salad plates, they are lovely. Blue bunny goblets are a perfect complement to your table. The Easter treat bags with vintage cards are the icing on the cake.
I am hoping the light frost doesn’t nip my Yellow Banks, Snowballs, and bridal wreath spirea. Hopefully your buds are ok, as well. It is always a pleasure to sit at one of your stunning tables 💚🐰🩵🐥🩷💐
Hi Mary, those chicks with bunny ears are beyond adorable! Love your pretty pastel check tablecloth and napkins, so perfect for this Spring/Easter table! Your centerpiece is beautiful and I love the chocolate bunnies and eggs tucked in. The scattered Easter grass is a sweet touch and I love the eggs, bunnies and chicks hopping around your table and the cute little favor sacks with Easter treats and cards. The blue bunny goblets are darling. Thank you for the smiles this morning and Happy Spring! 🌷🐇🌷
Jenna
My favorites of this darling table are the postcards, vintage-inspired. The bunny-chicks are sweet too.
What are the white charger plates?
Hi, they’re not marked except for “made in Portugal”. I found them at HomeGoods several years ago.
Very sweet, happy first day of spring! Loads of fitness but my favorite is the bee with the chicks, just makes me smile!
I love your sweet table, Mary! The treat bags are adorable, and so are the chick and bunny plates. The blue bunny goblets are so cute, and I hate that I missed out on them. The bunny and chicks theme is adorable, and you implemented it well. Happy spring!
Love, love, love your table decor! As usual you make it all so pretty! I have that pastel tablecloth! So this was close to my heart and I recently got a fluted bowl that looks the same as yours. I keep looking for those glasses and finding other colours or sizes and now in plastic. I saw them a few years ago and at the time felt I couldn’t afford them and didn’t really need them. A decision I’ve regretted, if you love it get it.
beautiful
OMGoodness, as soon as I saw those chicks with the bunny ears I loved them! So cute!!! I also ran downstairs to check and I have a VERY similar tablecloth that I could use. I may just copy your entire table:):) You are always such an inspiration, Mary. Have a WONDERFUL Easter, hopefully with family. Our holidays are VERY different now as our daughter and SIL got divorced in the beginning of Dec. We are ALL adjusting. XO
These are so beautiful and precious!!
Oh and I totally agree, I wish Easter was later in April! We had a tease of 3 70 degree days but now it’s back to the 40’s and WINDY! UGH!! But I have all my bunnies out:):)
I really enjoyed seeing how your foundation tablecloth provided the base for all the goodies gathered at your table. Using white dinner plates and charges set off the bunny and chick plates perfectly. The addition of some beautiful spring flowers, daffodils and hyacinths, was lovely pulling everything together. I enjoyed the chocolate Easter treats scattered around the table…and then you added goodie bags. What a great place to be on Easter morning. Always a pleasure to hop with you, Mary. Happy Spring.
Lynne
Chicks with bunny ears put a smile on my face
Mary,
What a lovely table! I’ve been following you for years and am always inspired!
May I ask where the adorable Easter “boxes/bags” came from? If you already stated where, please forgive me.
They are so cute!
Kindest regards,
Chris
Hi Chris, I found them at HomeGoods in an assorted pack of 6. 🐰🐣
Thank you!
Good Afternoon Mary.
The pastel colors of the tablecloth goes great with your center
Piece. I sure do love your bunny plates! But the treat bags are calling my name.
Thank you so much for the Spring Inspiration!
Oh my goodness, Mary– those little chicks in their bunny ears are the cutest! As always, it is a pleasure to pull up a chair to your beautifully styled table! Happy Spring! Blessings, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction

Your bunny details have me hopping with glee, but the bunny eared chicks seriously brought giggles. What a cute idea! The blue bunny goblets are calling my name. What a great find for your tabletop collection. Your centerpiece is a favorite idea here too. I currently have a bowl of potted tulips sitting on the sunporch. Instant and long lasting can’t be beat! I love the idea of mixing the bulbs, and like you, my garden benefits the following years. It’s a win/win!!! Wishing you a Happy First Day of Spring and a Happy Easter! And, yes, I’m with you on wishing Easter as late in April as possible.

Happy spring, Mary! Your Easter table is beautiful! Your arrangement is stunning, and thanks for sharing the tutorial. What a wonderful idea to be able to plant the bulbs when you are finished plus, I love the idea that it saves money. With the price of everything right now, many of us are looking for ways to save money. Your pastel checked tablecloth provides the perfect backdrop to your flowers, bunnies, chicks, and sweet bunny plates. The treat bags are precious, and I know your guests will love them. Everything looks gorgeous and ready for an Easter celebration. Wishing you a happy and blessed spring, sweet friend!
Mary, Your table is outstanding! The bunny chicks are adorable! I’m going to add a few to our collection for next year if I can find them still in stock. The spring plaid tablecloth is perfect for Easter. I bought one a couple of years ago and always enjoy using it. The centerpiece is a beautiful compilation of very pretty things. I have been using faux tulips because of the pets, but I may make one and put it up high so maybe they can’t attack it and use it for a toy! Your plates are all lovely. Mary, I just love your goodie bags with post cards. They’re such a wonderful idea! You always set an interesting and inviting table. Thanks for the inspiration. Great job! Clara❤️
Love the chicks with bunny ears!!! BEAUTIFUL table too!!

Tucking in the chocolate bunny was such a fun idea, I didn’t even notice it was chocolate at first. Your plate stack is really stunning. I love the combinations of textures that you have used, and the bunny plates so cute. The blue pressed glass goblets are a great find. Love that they have the little bunnies. And, who doesn’t love a little goodie bag?! Wishing you a very Happy Easter and Spring season :)

Thanks for this fabulous inspiration – I always get so many great ideas from your tables. Take care and Happy Spring!
I love the profusion of colors on your table — that says Spring as much as those adorable chicks and colored eggs. I have to smile at the chicks proudly strutting in their Easter ‘bonnets’. All the intriguing details you add to your tables always make them doubly wonderful. Your blooming centerpiece is simply stunning! I like how you add details even within the flower arrangement. Enjoy a beautiful Spring!
Love the chicks and the chicky plates! So adorable!
