Halloween is tomorrow and then it’s Bone Voyage for The Skeleton Crew,
aka, Rod and Rowena, and their pups!
💀 ✈️ 🚙 🚲 🚂 🚢 ☠️
They’re heading out for parts unknown. . .
Hoping for some exciting adventures to share when they return next year.
Rowena is a dishaholic and couldn’t resist this set of four salad / dessert plates
when she spied them at HomeGoods.
The weather has been beautiful and perfect for alfresco dining,
so she set one last table by the lake for Halloween.
She decided to use her Cookie House she assembled
a couple of weeks ago, as a centerpiece for the table.
A Jack-o’-lantern table runner helps keep the ‘Happy’ in Halloween
and from the spiderweb tablecloth from appearing too scary!
Rod has quite the sweet tooth and can’t keep his bony fingers out of the candy.
Kit Kat Breaking Bones is a favorite of candy of The Skeleton Crew. . .
They have the cracking of crispy wafers and the frightful flavor of bone-white creme!
Other than candy, Rod’s hoping to avoid any bad breaks in the future,
and keeping his fingers crossed that the pin in his shoulder holds!
Foil wrapped chocolate skeletons are another candy favorite,
along with miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Rod and Rowena both said it felt good to sit the sunshine and warm up their bones.
Rod bought Rowena some new earrings. . .
She thought they were boo-tiful!
Their pups, Bona Lisa and Bone-ita,
are looking forward to ‘Lick or Treat’ tomorrow!
Rod’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be, so he didn’t realize
he was holding his pumpkin pillow upside down!
Rowena told him she was making him an appointment
with her eye doctor next week to get him some glasses . . .
She says they really help when they’re working puzzles
so she doesn’t get headaches from eye strain.

Absolutely hilarious! How in the heck you could find those dessert plates that tie in with Rod and Rowena saying bone voyage I will never know…LOL! You just have a gift for these things Mary! And the Kit Kat Bar! I just love these stories that you put together! Sad to see Rod and Rowena go away until next year but I will look forward to the antics they are up to next year. I may have to find some of their relatives for my own castle here…too much fun!

Mary, after the hurricane. We were all so worried if you were affected and okay. But, secondly, and selfishly, we worried about your stash and the blog ! If you ever run out of ideas (very unlikely LOL), show us where you store it all. A woman after my own heart who loves “stuff” and flowers.
