A Pumpkin Tailgate reprisal from last Fall~
Cooler temperatures make for perfect tailgate & picnic weather~
My husband got a new/old 1985 jeep that’s been restored. . .
. . . now a Sky Blue color, like Ronald Reagan’s CJ-8 he used on his ranch.
He kept the original tailgate color for comparison~
Of course, my response that his jeep was so “cute” when I first saw it, was NOT the proper adjective. . .
. . . for a 1985 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler with a crate 350 motor, NV 4500 transmission, Dana transfer case, and Dana front and rear axles. . .
. . .but I still say it’s cute, especially decorated with pumpkins :)
My husband failed appreciate my feminine touches & the accessorizing of his Jeep. . .
But I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the pumpkins in contrast to the Warn Winch’s durable 3-stage planetary geartrain and operation series-wound, high-speed motor~ especially when it makes my husband squirm :-)

Wow!!! As a Kansas City Chiefs fan (Go Chiefs!!!), I know a lot about tailgating. This is beautiful!!! Really great job!
Well Jeepers ;o) This is my idea of tailgating! My hubby surprised me with a new Jeep for my 50th birthday recently, so I see from your post that the Jeep has yet another use! I will never forget this post.

Jain said “you even make dirt better! ” LOL MEGA DITTO!
Mary, I have been unable to comment on any of your postings until now due to a computer virus & myself being infected, too. All is well now & I’m thrilled to be able to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed seeing all your autumn photos. This jeep adventure is just spectacular! You gathered so many wonderful items & I can just hear your DH’s groans!!!! Too funny!
I hope to be able to keep up better now that things are fixed.
fondly,
Rett

Your post is the best…fun, romantic and it has a jeep involved. I am a jeep girl, I love my pumpkin orange jeep. I love your post, everything about it, I agree with what the other comments say. And I am going to have to do this for a date with my husband! Thanks for the idea…I hope you don’t mind if I use it!?! I do have one question…I have never heard of Pumpkin ale…what is it?
This post just made my morning! My husband would have the same reaction if I embellished his Toyota Tundra with take on a tailgate picnic. Your take on tailgaiting is gorgeous, by the way. Thank you for sharing your wonderful design and for stopping by my post. Cherry Kay
My David is going to FREAK OUT when he sees that Jeep!!! Love it.
