Wow, Mary! These are fabulous! I love the reflection of the colors on the water with the fog. The dock and boardwalk shots are amazing. And the Heron (?) is wonderful!

How beautiful. When I grew up on a lake in Michigan, early morning was my favorite time. You brought back wonderful memories.

I think that a foggy morning – being there to watch the mist drift around and then gradually disappear – is every bit the gift that a beautiful sunset or sunrise can be. Your shots are lovely.

    Hi Mary,
Thank you for sharing these extraordinary “foggy fotos”. Some of us do not get up early enough to capture this beauty. I especially love the one across from Winery Dogs with the sunrise and the 3 ducks. Wish I had your “eye”!

  42. October 27, 2010 at 5:29 pm

These photos are to die for. I live in a desert, so fog usually happens during an ugly winter storm. This kind of fog that just drifts over a lake is beautiful. Makes me wish I lived in a place like that. :-)

  43. October 27, 2010 at 5:46 pm

Nice. Chilliwack has the most fog I’ve ever seen in an area .

  44. October 27, 2010 at 6:45 pm

What a beautiful stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday’s letter “F”.

I am always enchanted by fog….one of my favorite things about visiting Oregon in the fall.

The suspension of sky and ground in your photos is really ethereal and charming.

    Thank you for linking.

    A+
