F is for Fog
This week’s letter assignment for Mrs. Matlock’s class is the letter F~
Early mornings at the lake as the fog is lifting. . .
“Truth is the torch that gleams through the fog without dispelling it.”
~ Claude Adrien Helvetius
Wow, Mary! These are fabulous! I love the reflection of the colors on the water with the fog. The dock and boardwalk shots are amazing. And the Heron (?) is wonderful!
How beautiful. When I grew up on a lake in Michigan, early morning was my favorite time. You brought back wonderful memories.
Fabulous fog photos! These photos have an eery beauty to them.
Hope you have a great week ahead. ~ Sarah
I think that a foggy morning – being there to watch the mist drift around and then gradually disappear – is every bit the gift that a beautiful sunset or sunrise can be. Your shots are lovely.
Thank you for sharing these extraordinary “foggy fotos”. Some of us do not get up early enough to capture this beauty. I especially love the one across from Winery Dogs with the sunrise and the 3 ducks. Wish I had your “eye”!
you live in paradise, THANK GOD YOU SHARE IT! the 5th and 6th shot send me over the moon… the fall foilage peeking thru, be still my heart…
As long as I don’t have to drive in fog, I think it is wonderful … magical, romantic!!!!! Lovely images all.

I think mist on the water looks so magical. Love your photos.
Foggy mornings have an ethereal beauty that lingers long in the soul – something of mystery that is alluring. You’ve captured that feeling so beautifully in these photos. It makes me want to climb into a canoe and paddle silently into the mist.
Fog — evidence that spirits are aloft, I think. Your photos are lovely.
Beautiful and inspiring! How fun to be able to capture the mist, and the duck shots are super.
I love to look at your beautiful foggy mosaics!
Great post with a different subject than most. The fog is mysterious and quite soothing to me. ♥olive

What very lovely images you’ve captured. The fog looks so mysterious and enchanting! Ours is usually so thick during the summer months that the pictures would just look like white fuzz!! I love your lake views, just wonderful.
Very pretty…it almost looks like steam…our fog doesn’t lift up like that here.
F if for fabulous photos! These are truly amazing. Just gorgeous. I love the fog coming in “on little cat’s feet.”

These photos were definitely worth a second viewing. They are so beautiful.
Fabulous fog fotos! I love being at the ocean when it rolls in — love your lake perspective too. Visiting from AT. Joni
These photos are to die for. I live in a desert, so fog usually happens during an ugly winter storm. This kind of fog that just drifts over a lake is beautiful. Makes me wish I lived in a place like that. :-)
Nice. Chilliwack has the most fog I’ve ever seen in an area .
The Foggy photos are just beautiful….lol…. I’m so glad I got to see them.

Neat photos of the fog which to me seems so much like fall (or spring).
