I set a table with the bunnies and eggs for an Easter celebration!

I found assorted white bunny dishes, cousins to my favorite white bird dishes, at HomeGoods a couple of weeks ago.

They hopped to the table layered on white plates, beaded chargers and white wicker placemats –> appropriately, by Bunny Williams 🐇 for Ballard Designs.

Did you know a group of group of wild rabbits is called a fluffle?

I’ve learned so many fun and useless facts blogging. ;)

My fluffle of white bunnies have gathered at the table. . .

Shredded paper Easter basket ‘grass’ provides colorful filler for the tops of the blooming pots of bulbs and a nest for colorful eggs at the table.

Love the fluffle! The new bunny dishes from HG are really cute, and so are the napkin rings. I may need to make a trip out just for the oreo white chocolate rabbits. Have a good week. Will it ever be spring?

I have so enjoyed your Easter blogs this season. I really hate to pack up all my sweet bunnies this week. Can’t wait to see what you do next as spring finally appears here in North Alabama.

What a playful, softly colored table, Mary. The tablecloth set the perfect stage for your fluffle of bunnies. with your pretty dishes, goblets, planters, chocolate, and candy. I always enjoy looking at each lovely detail, and thank you for sharing with us.

A treat for my eyes this morning, as are all of your posts. I am amazed at how you can take the most simple things and turn them into elegant prized possessions in your tablescapes. I know a shopping trip to Home Goods and Target with you would be an exciting adventure! Looking forward to more spring lovelies…

  13. April 2, 2018 at 8:52 am

Bunny-licious Mary! I thought the white chocolate bunnies were ceramic! I love the Easter grass tucked in your plants, as usual there is bunny eye candy everywhere! Love the blue bunny goblets and your new plates…I know you had a very “Hoppy” Easter!

Oh , my! What a delightful setting! Those new light blue bunny goblets, bunny napkin rings and sweet bunny plates are over-the-top precious! Our Home Goods store is an hour away, which is probably a good thing for my budget, ha. If it were closer I would have to hop over there to purchase some plates. Love the new word “fluffle”, so fitting for soft, fluffy bunnies. Really like the idea of putting flowers in a tureen with pretty shredded grass. Will copy that for sure. 😉 Love all of it, Mary, hope your Easter was wonderful.

So very pretty, you have such a special touch with everything. Meant to comment yesterday, just loved Gracie in her cute and colorful Easter bonnet. Thanks Mary.

Just delightful, Mary…love every single pastel inch of your tablescape!! I’m coveting those pale blue bunny goblets, BIG TIME!
Also, I did not know that a gathering of bunnies was called a “ruffle”…so appropriate!

  19. April 2, 2018 at 11:03 am

Mary, what a beautiful Easter table! Your fluffle of bunnies are so cute! The new HG bunny dishes were a perfect addition to your bunny collection! Spring seems to have arrived here, but we never know if a late frost could happen! Happy Monday!

Just darling, all of it. I especially love the bunny goblets. Fluffle – love it! I have a fluffle in my yard and they are ruining my lawn. I had to stop planting some of my favorite annuals because they were apparently too tasty. Trying to find a Costco size cayenne pepper since I heard it might deter them.

Love the Easter tablescape! “Fluffle” of bunnies are adorable. The use of white dinnerware with colorful napkins, tablecloth, candy, etc made this tablescape work. Happy Easter to you!

No I did not know the word fluffle and can not wait to use it on my friends. We are country kids and should know these things. 🙃 Love the bunny on the leaf, but the napkin rings have stolen my heart. Hope you had a beautiful Easter.

  26. April 2, 2018 at 3:47 pm

I just love your fluffle. I didn’t know that either. I will have to share that with my kids who had real bunnies this year. I thought they were crazy to get two bunnies when they live in a two bedroom apartment, but we sure enjoyed them for pictures yesterday! Now we told them they always have to have bunnies.

Love the entire tablescape, Mary! Especially the blue bunny goblets and the “fluffle” of bunnies!!! Happy Monday!

  31. April 2, 2018 at 5:27 pm

A wonderful table – as always! Oh dear though, those bunny cousin plates are really adorable! Several years ago, I hunted down 8 of the bird plates and I’m still struggling to store them! Gotta resist…

  32. April 2, 2018 at 5:38 pm

As long as the fluffle is at your house and not eating my pea shoots I’m happy! But, as for your table setting Mary, it’s just too fun! I love the new little white leaf dishes with bunnies:@)

  33. April 2, 2018 at 6:28 pm

Love this tablescape, Mary! The white dishes look so crisp and fresh with the pastel colors of the table linens. And I was glad to see that you used bulb flowers in your centerpiece. I was wondering how to do that. Do you just transfer the dirt and all into your decorative container?

    • April 3, 2018 at 6:07 am

Thanks, Maureen! Yes, Water your bulbs/flowers well first then remove the bulbs from their pots and place them in a plastic bag before adding them to your vases/containers. I used a tureen without its lid for the large container. Top it with your decorative shred or moss. It will last a week or longer depending the stage of your bulbs :)

        April 3, 2018 at 1:58 pm

Awesome! I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for the directions. I wondered if you used an inner container but never would have thought of a plastic bag.

Imagine that…a Fluffle! What a cheery word, and yet another beautiful tablescape! We can usually find such wonderful things at Homegoods, can’t we? but I think I need a 12-step program for my plate habit at this point, tee hee.

    • April 3, 2018 at 9:29 am

I’ll be at the first meeting Marie…let me know when it is❣️🍽🐇🌷

  40. April 3, 2018 at 9:42 am

Well, I am all a FLUFFLE over this table! It is so pretty. I don’t usually go for pastels except at Easter and in Spring generally. Your tablecloth is lovely!!! I love everything: the bunny plates, napkin rings, glasses, it is all perfection. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.

  41. Maureen D. Eha
    April 3, 2018 at 2:04 pm

Another question, Mary: How large is the table you used for this tablescape? Did you put a larger tablecloth under the pastel egg one? I’m asking because I believe Target’s tablecloths are only 60″ X 84″, and it looks as if you have the table set for 6, with two place settings on each side. When my table is set for 6, an 84″ tablecloth hangs over only a few inches on each end. Is that OK? I always thought the overhang was supposed to be greater.

  42. April 3, 2018 at 5:00 pm

What a most beautiful and playful table featuring your band of Fluffles! Fluffles…who knew?!! and so great to learn something new each day! As always the table is so beautiful with twists and turns of the unexpected charming ways you create enchanting vignettes throughout the table….Love, love the white wicker chargers…they frame the setting with such daintiness resembling lace. Always such a treat to see your amazing creations Mary!! Hope you had a most wonderful Easter!!

  43. April 3, 2018 at 10:17 pm

Mary, you just major in pretty..and photography. I love those napkin rings. You can never have too many dishes, cabinets or bunnies.

  44. April 3, 2018 at 11:08 pm
