I love creating a table or centerpiece to add some fun and celebrate the holidays, and Valentine’s Day is no exception! In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, I’m joining group of bloggers for a Valentine’s Day Tablescape Blog Hop.

Look for the links at the bottom of this post for more Valentine table inspiration from 24 bloggers and table stylists this week.

A holiday of hearts, flowers and chocolate should be celebrated with those you love, and that includes girlfriends too! With that in mind, I decided a Valentine’s Tea Party would be in order and a fun way to share some love and celebrate.

You’re invited to a Valentine’s Day Tea!

We’re enjoying the soft glow and twinkle of lights provided by our Winter Nesting Tree at our Valentine’s Tea Table. Our winter tree is a cheery way to brighten the house during the cold, gray months of January and February and decorated with snowflakes, icy branches, glittery nests, pine cones and bird ornaments, you can see more, HERE.

A chandelier dessert stand elevates the fun for our table as a Blooming Valentine’s Tea Party Centerpiece. See how easy it is to transform teacups and a teapot into a centerpiece, HERE.

Pretty pastels and pink roses adorn delicate plates and teacups with heart demitasse spoons for stirring our tea . . .

And floral print napkins and vintage flatware add additional blooms to the table.

A faux fur throw with a rose-patterned texture, provides a tablecloth for our tea table, appropriate for Valentine’s Day.

We’re enjoying our favorite tea blend of Black Tea, Rose Petals, Lavender, Chamomile and Vanilla Essence . . .

A delicious infusion made with Love to pour for Valentine’s Day. ♥

Help yourself to some macarons to enjoy with your tea. . .

Mary, Your Valentine’s Tea Table is just beautiful! What a treat it would be to join you for tea. Your centerpiece is breathtaking and I love the addition of the sweet macarons studded with roses at the base. Your attention to detail never fails to impress me. Thank you for the link to your other tea time treats. I clicked over and can’t wait to try some of these recipes like those pound cake tea sandwiches to serve for my ladies’ Bible study this spring. ♥ Joy

You have out done yourself, if that is all possible with this one, Mary!!!!!! Every detail is just gorgeous. The photo of the tea cups against the floral table cloth is a show stopper!!! I already pinned it. Only you can make a fork look sooooo good! Your centerpiece is just gorgeous along with all of the special treats that make this table so special. Thank you for sharing your fabulous talents with our hop, it is always a highlight!! Lots of love❤️

I’m in love with your tea table for Valentine’s Day Mary! The explosion of blooms and colors is such a wonderful sight on a cold February morning. Your rose embossed throw would make a wonderful Valentine’s Day gift for my BFF who loves pink. Thank you for the beautiful start to my day. When you share a table with us, I know I’m in for a treat!

Mary, you have a well FULL of ideas. This post has so many wonderful links, it could make an event planner/catering business turn green with envy (or very red-faced!, given the occasion). That pink furry throw is awesome, especially in that overhead shot of other table elements including the teapot, a place setting, and the centerpiece. That chocolate mousse dessert – ! The winter tree is truly the best antidote to winter yuk. I’d love to be at that Galentine’s table, and afterward maybe put on our muck boots and stroll through and mark where things will grow in the garden. Cheers!

My favorite element, other than the knock out flower arrangements in the tea cups and tea pot, is the pink fur throw, so cozy and girly! I love the different tea cup patterns too Mary, so pretty! And with your gorgeous Winter Nesting Tree in the background, the whole setting is indeed swoon worthy!

Oh Mary, the faux fur pink throw is so romantic to use for the table!! I am oohing and ahhing over the Limoges salad plates and the Mikasa Endearment plates and teacups. How delicate they look on your table. Of course, all the other teacups make my tea-loving heart go pitter patter. Oh, Mary, you never cease to amaze me and inspire me to style prettier tables. This tea party would be perfect anytime of year! Any friends would be thrilled to join you for tea at the pretty table. Those floral teacups are like a bouquet for each tea sipper. The centerpiece is amazing! I love your vintage sterling silverware, I have some lily of the valley silverware that I think might be a similar maker. The florals on the silverware complement the flowers on the teacups and in your centerpieces perfectly! Thank you for once again joining another hop and sharing your amazing styling talents!

I don’t know how you keep coming up with such new and clever ideas Mary. You are an inspiration to the rest of us. The tea pot and cups are so vintage looking and would be such fun to sip out of at any tea party. Your choice of tablecloth is genius. That pink throw looks like a rose infused tablecloth. so pretty. I also have the heart demitasse spoons and I love using them around valentine’s day. I look forward to these blog hops because I know I will find something unique in your tablescapes that will be inspirational for me. You never cease to amaze.

Mary, what you can do with a floral arrangement is amazing. Your use of fresh flowers transforms your table and needs to be regularly published in a horticultural magazine. You always select the most stunning pieces for your table and your tiered stand is no exception. The teapot and teacup floral collection is such a beautiful choice for a display. the tea sounds delicious too. I have been enjoying lemon and lavender combination, but I can imagine just how much more flavorful to have rose, vanilla and lavender together. Your work is always wonderful and I enjoy blog hopping with you. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

  27. February 5, 2019 at 2:34 pm

What a most glorious Tea Party it is! As always the details are truly beautiful and creative with that signature Mary elements of the unexpected. The tea looks wonderful and one of my favorite things to do is go to a wonderful tea shop and choose a special blend. One of my fav tea rooms is in Savannah, the Tea Room. Have a great day Mary!

Mary, such an enchanting table — Cupid would feel right at home! The first thing my eye went to was the pink fur through as a tablecloth, so very clever and perfect for a Valentine’s setting. So many wonderful details in the stunning centerpiece. And, I can’t get myself to the store fast enough for the vintage-look wrapper chocolates.

  38. February 5, 2019 at 9:25 pm

Mary, I love all the girly details of this tea party. I keep thinking I want to host a Valentine’s Tea for girlfriends, but I never seem to get one planned. Yours is truly inspiring. Perhaps if I start now, I’ll be ready to host in 2020.
I’ve pinned lots of ideas. Thank you, sweet friend for always generously sharing your creative spirit!

Mary, love all your beautiful flowers and how you’ve displayed them. The pink tablecloth is the perfect backdrop for your table. And pink macarons are my favorite! I’m having a little girlfriend lunch on Friday, too!

  40. February 6, 2019 at 12:04 pm

Mary, as you know, I love everything you do. But, this post spoke to me differently. It actually made me sad. As I scrolled from one lovely image to another, I wondered why the next generation doesn’t care about china, tea cups or lace tablecloths? Brides today only want informal, everyday dishes. I have such fond memories of the times I’ve used my fine china. Occasions when I wanted someone to feel special, celebrate someone’s anniversay or give a bridal tea; and that is just one reason I love your blog. You and your followers show us empty nesters that our love of pretty things was not silly. It IS special.

The Evening Star silverplate pattern was my mother’s pattern in 1950. I have her service for 8 which we use each Christmas day for our lunch. It is a blessing to remember through the pattern, and it warms my heart to see you have used it in your setting.
