This is the North Pole version a Moscow Mule. If you’re not familiar with a Moscow Mule,
it’s traditionally made with vodka, spicy ginger beer and lime juice.
Despite its name, modern day Ginger Beer has no alcohol,
but adds a zippy ginger flavor that’s more robust than ginger ale.
The Moscow Mule mug keeps your cocktail nice and frosty, just like the temps at the North Pole!
Make sure you use a mug that’s lined with stainless steel instead of copper,
preventing it from reacting to the acid in the lime and cranberry juice.

This is the type of cocktail that I don’t usually measure, mixing to taste.
Fill mugs with crushed ice, to each mug add:
🎅 2 oz. vodka of choice
🎅 Add equal parts *cranberry juice and ginger beer to top off. Add a squeeze of lime, stirring to combine.
🎅 Garnish a sprig of rosemary, lime wedge and float some cranberries to make it festive if desired.
I like to keep a bag of cranberries in the freezer for holiday cocktails.
*Cranberry juice and juice blends can vary from 5 grams to 28 grams of sugar per serving.
Select your cranberry juice based on how sweet you like your cocktail.
For a refreshing mocktail, omit the vodka and mix the cranberry juice with ginger beer and squeeze of lime.

My red sweater pillow got a little holiday makeover,
just like the Moscow Mule, with the addition of a Santa belt!
