Something to Crow About

I’m joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

Thank you, Susan, for hosting such a fun event & providing dishaholics everywhere with a weekly fix.

He heralds the dawn of a new day~ this farmyard ambassador of morning. . .

He says “Cock-a-doodle-do” in English. . .

“Kikeriki” in German. . .

“Kuklooku” in Urdu. . .

 and “Ko-ke-kok-ko-o” in Japanese. . .

But today, he is crowing about the arrival of fall :-)

This stunning tablescape is reason for any rooster to crow! The new rooster is definitely a “pretty boy”, but those flowers are truly amazing. Did you grow these in your garden? Fab container that is holding these beauties too. Wonderful post! ~ Sarah

FABULOUS! Love the colour combo! The sunflower plates are lovely and go so well with the terrific amber swirled goblets. In my TT post today, I featured ideas to fill glass vases/inserts but I have NEVER thought of putting pasta shapes inside – terrific idea!!! And the pillar candles on top – wonderful!

What a gorgeous autumn scene…you’ve captured the essence of the season beautifully. Love the “strut over to the porch” line…very clever! LOL

I see I’ve got some catching up to do around here. I’m gonna need another cuppa tea this morning! ;-)

    Hi Mary
Thanks so much for signing on at the new Back Porch. Unfortunately, just after you signed on I accidently deleted the Google Friend thing. Thank goodness there were only four there so far. Makes it easier to go around and apologize for the mixup. Hope you will stop by and give it one more try. I promise to be more careful!:-)
