What a WONDERFUL Easter table, Mary!! I’m lovin’ every inch of it, but especially that gorgeous runner. I may have to make a Home Goods trip.
The F&F pieces are beautiful & I think it was brilliant of you to use the mugs for both napkin holders AND flower arrangements. What a cute effect!
Well done, as always, my friend. You inspire so many with your creative ideas. Thank you!

At the risk of sounding like a complete weirdo, I have to say that I wish I could be a ladybug (or a fairy, if there were such a thing) so that I could really ‘get into’ your tablescape. It is just beautiful.
I will certainly take inspiration from this – and I love the idea of the mug as vase and napkin ring.

So festive, I love it! Have never seen the tulip plates by F&F–they’re wonderful!

Wonderful table! I love it. How neat to use the mugs as vases and napkin rings. That a terrific pattern, simple, elegant but with a touch of whimsy. I’m so happy that you’ll be bringing this wonderful table to Seasonal Sundays!

Colorful, Creative, and Inspiring. Yes, Your Easter table and You are all that! CGE

Mary, I’m echoing all of the above. Like Pondside, I’d like to hope right into this scape. The Tulip d’Or is gorgeous. I’ve not seen this pattern before. And like all the others, I’m going to take inspiration from your idea to use the mug handle as a napkin ring. I have petite rabbit pitchers to use for individual placesettings for an upcoming dinner party. They may just turn into the napkin rings as well as party favor and vase for flowers. ;-) Brilliant idea!
As with all your creative offerings, this one makes my heart sing ~ every perfect detail! Happy Easter! ~ sarah

Bunnies and tulips are some of my favorite things. The polkadots are so fun too. Great idea of using the cup as a napkin ring. I love it all!

Oooofff! My breath was taken away……..all I can say is to repeat all of the above comments!!! Beautiful, elegant and yet still full of whimsy! Love the idea of the mugs as vases AND napkin holders! Love the F&F tulip plates and the lines of the mugs….love the pastel polkadotted napkins….(and I wonder why they are called polkadots, anyway?)…Mary, this table is definitely a breath of Spring. Happy Easter!

Aw, man….I LOVE those tulip plates! They are SO pretty!!! The gold rim around them makes them extra special. The napkins are so festive with the polka dots…love those, too! Great idea to pop them through the mug handles! Tulips are among my favorite flowers, and they just make the coming of Spring so apparent! Those are some BIG bunnies. Somebody’s in for a whale of a chocolate high!!! :-) This is a gorgeous Easter table, and it could work for brunch or dinner!

What a beautiful table Mary! Lovin’ your spectacular runner and my first thought was the plates are very pretty, then I saw the gold accents-wow! I love everything about this setting-enjoy:@)

  19. April 14, 2011 at 9:16 am

You sure hit the right notes for me on this table Mary. My favorite flower is a tulip and who doesn’t love the F&F pieces. I never seem to use the cups to any of my china since so few in my group drink coffee so your idea of the flowers and napkins is a perfect one. Thanks so much for sharing.

Mary, this table is SO gorgeous! I love the lavish use of tulips in Easter egg colors, and those salad plates are fabulous — what fun to use on spring tables! The bunnies are so elegant, too — they’ll charm children and adults alike!

Popping back to tell you about trying to duplicate your beautiful table runner effect. I had a lacy one…not as pretty as YOURS, mind you…on my buffet. It took some very careful maneuvering to gently slide it out from under all the serving pieces AND the silver tea set AND Caroline’s picture frame. Got it all washed & ironed & starched. Put it on the dining room table & its too big!!! It hung over at least 2′ on each end. Tried tucking it under in the middle…looked stupid. Decided to just remove it all together. Of course, this was AFTER I had the centerpiece & all the glasses & plates in position. *sigh*
I should have just gone shopping at Home Goods like I wanted to in the first place! LOL I WILL be taking table measurements WITH me next time.
Thanks for your sweet words on my mug mats. I’m having fun with them.
I’ll have to ponder what fabric & style would work for you & your lake & boat & poochies. Hmmmmm……

I just love those tulip plates. I have never seen any like them and I am afraid I must track them down. Tulips on plates? Does it get any better than that? Just love your chocolate message. I haven’t been making the rounds of tables lately and I am so glad I found yours today!

  29. April 17, 2011 at 11:04 am

Your Easter table setting is so pretty…that lacy table runner makes it extra special and is the icing on the cake :) Love the bunnies and tulips too!
    Happy SS!

Beautiful table, Mary! The plates are lovely! I have those HG napkins too, used them in last week’s dotty table.

Mary, I don’t know if you’ll see this since it’s a week late, but I was not in computer land last week, and Sarah at Hyacinth’s for the soul just shouted this out. I LOVE this whole table.

  34. April 22, 2011 at 2:31 pm

Oh…I love your Easter table! Can you tell me where you bought those so cute foil bunnies?

  35. April 22, 2011 at 6:42 pm

I’m back! I totally missed that your mugs were napkin holders, too! I must have been mesmerized by the napkins because you know I love them.
I was looking at what Sarah did similarly on her table at Hyacinths for the Soul and linked back here again to check yours as she mentioned your idea.
Enjoyed viewing your tablescape again. Love it!!
