Mary!! I was just quoting this to my hubby yesterday as we were discussing where to embark on the next phase of our lives~~retire, take a new opportunity that has come along, move, stay…such a wonderful phrase to ponder. I know one thing~~I wouldn’t mind sailing along in one of those gorgeous sailboats! Your lake must be a lovely place to live. Linda

Oh, do I have fond memories of our sailing days. The lake looks so inviting, Mary. Wish we still had our boat.

This reminds me of a long ago magical summer in San Diego. Sailing by Christopher Cross was first released… What beauty and freedom! Loved the post.

Years ago, I used to sail on Lake Murray in Columbia, SC but these days I prefer motorboating! Still love to see the beautiful sailboats underway!

How I enjoyed this post! We returned from our annual sail this yr a few months ago. We sail 3-4 months every yr . Dominican Republic was our destination this yr but as you know, it’s not the destination, but the journey.
Your pics reminded me of all the sunsets I’ve witnessed from the bow of our boat …..and it’s just glorious!!
