My favorite Halloween treat is a chocolate bar. I really like too many of them to pick just one, and I am including peanut M&Ms in that category. Having never lost my sweet tooth, each Halloween I buy the regular size bars/bags (some will remember they used to be a nickel) and try to have a wide variety. I put them on a very large tray and enjoy watching the joy in the “treaters” eyes when I ask them to pick their favorite. With the advent of snack size bars, these look so big to little people! MM

My favorite candy is relatively new for Halloween. I love the ghost peeps that you have shown on your table. I have always loved Peeps and now I am so thrilled that they have them for many different holidays. I am going to do a twist of what you did and fill tall glasses with the candy and Peeps for my 3 children. I know they will instantly love it!

My favorite Halloween treat dates back to my 1950s childhood trick-or-treating years in small-town Kentucky. It was always fun to receive the typical assortment of store-bought goodies, but we’d make a beeline to one particular neighborhood where homemade popcorn balls were handed out. YUM! Thanks always for your delightful posts over-flowing with ‘eye-candy’, as well as your generous giveaways. Would love to win that Dutch oven!

Chicken is our favorite dinner, so when I bake chicken I always put in two. One for the dinner table and one for the slow cooker. We always have something going in the slow cooker. Going to try the Witch’s Stew tomorrow. Love the witches fingers.

Favorite candy – has to be a toss up between Tootsie Rolls and Apples dipped in caramel. Love new crop apples in the fall when they are still a little green inside. Pair those with sweet caramel and I’m in heaven.

My all time favorite is gooey popcorn balls, and also peanut M&M’s. My favorite holiday is Halloween so I especially loved all your décor and treats. You really have out done yourself this time. Everything is fun, including your cute poem. Trish

My favorite Halloween treat is candycorn! I made a ton of the Oreo witch stocking legs last year – I gave them to friends, sent some to my husband’s office, gave them to the folks I see regularly -the pharmacist and the pharm tech, the lady at the post office. Everyone loved them! I even did elf stocking legs for a co-worker of my husband. She sent them to school with her 2 children, and paid me! That was soo very cool!
I get your emails already and will go to FB now and “like” your page. I am a happy new follower – thanks!
I’ll be touching the wart on my nose 7 times for luck – lol!!

I just found your blog and I will NEVER miss it again!!! Your Halloween ideas have inspired me and now I’m definitely having a party. Would you come and merch my table, please???? And or course candy corn is the only way to go for any meal of the day, and since corn IS a vegetable, of course it’s healthy and just bound to be good for you!

I have been reading your blog for a long time! I bookmark every tablescape you do and just am amazed at all your creative ideas. Oh, when it comes to snacks–my favorite is anything chocolate! Love, love Mounds, Almond Joy, Twix, Heath Bar, Mr. Goodbar….Anyway, I’d love to be included in your giveaway, esp. since it’s on my birthday. But no telling my age ;o)

Wonderful give away, and I love all of your tables! You are always so clever!
My favorite Halloween treat would be the mini Hershey milk chocolate bars.

I love everything about Hall-o-ween. I like to dress up in costume and Bob for Apples. My favorite food is Taffy Apples. I really like the one’s you made with the eatable eyes, very clever. I enjoyed having a Halloween party each year when i was younger. We had skeleton soup, mini witches sandwitches’, Dracula drinks. I gave away small cauldrons filled with halloween candy and glasses. I gave out to the doorbell kids see through gloves filled with popcorn/candy corn and candy corn nails, with a spider ring., and popcorn balls Sooooo much fun!!!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. One year my husband and I had a dinner party. He made spaghetti in orange colored peppers. He mixed in some plastic cockroaches in the dish. He also put slices of prosciutto on a Styrofoam head as a centerpiece. This is the only time of year we could get away with this. We all had lots of laughs and will never forget that year.

Love the ideas. Love the feel of Fall, full moon, excitement of seeing trick & treater’s since my husband and I are empty nesters, making a nice pot of chili.
