Chick-fil-A Bouquet for Mother’s Day
My BFF gave me a Chick-fil-A Bouquet of beautiful roses from her garden. . .
Don’t you wish you could order a bouquet at the
drive-thru to quench your thirst for flowers?
Chick-fil-A: Hi, Welcome to Chick-fil-A,
how may I serve you today?
Me: I’d like a large bouquet of your prettiest old-fashioned roses,
assorted colors and fragrant too, please.
Chick-fil-A: My pleasure!
I cut some greenery from the shrubs and added some wet floral foam i
n a favorite bird urn from my retail days as a foundation for the roses.
I’ve had the urn 15+ years. It came with a beautiful lidded top
that was broken during shipping, but was still usable as a vase.
I had a lot of *free* broken pieces from my oh-not-so-glamorous retail career ;)
Wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day and a Chick-fil-A Bouquet!
Thank you for your visit, I’m joining:
You are so creative….Happy Mothers Day…May your fur babies lavish you with lots of kisses.
Happy Mothers Day, Mary!
What a simply gorgeous Mother’s Day gift to wake up to! Takes my breath away. I can just smell those roses. Thank you, Mary.
I was wondering if the purple foliage is lorapetalum. When I try to use mine in arrangements, it seems to go limp within a day. Any suggestions to make it last longer?
Hi Carol, It is lorapetalum! I have better luck with it and other garden foliage not drooping if I cut early in the morning and place it in a bucket of water several hours or overnight with some flower food to condition it. If you don’t have flower food, you can mix some lemon-lime soda (not diet) in the bucket of water :)
Beautiful roses Mary!!! Happy Mother’s Day!!
My grandmother had a lovely yellow climbing rose bush and when she past away my mother dug it up and planted it in her yard, I kick myself for not doing the same when mom past away :( . Roses must live a long time !!
Have a wonderful day !!
What a lovely bouquet, and a lovely friend!
Thanks for spreading the cheer, Mary. Simply gorgeous roses in this post. I’ll bet if Chick-fil let was open today, they would hand out one posy with each order, and it just might be a rose…
Gorgeous roses and I know the scent is wonderful. Your urn is beautiful and with the greenery and roses it is a specimen arrangement. Beautiful post.
Love me some Chick Fil-A.. Love the beautiful rises and the urn..HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!! 🌹🌺🌹🌺🌹
Beautiful Roses! Happy Mothers Day. Mary!
Happy Mothers Day Mary, I love David Austin roses, just can’t beat the old fashioned ones, the beauty and scent are mesmerizing.
Simply GORGEOUS!! I bet they smell fantastic, too. What a nice gesture from your friend…laughed at the container. Love the urn much better!!!
Stunning arrangement! I love that you use the old “broken” things. After 3 kids, most of my things are “broken”!
Mary, your creative mind doesn’t skip a beat! I love the way you think and the spontaneity of your sense of humor. Love it when a gardening buddy drops by with a cup of flowers. ‘-) Glad you kept the urn too. What a beauty with the detail of the birdies. Gorgeous piece and the perfect home for these roses.
Mary, Happy Mother’s Day. Beautiful roses. Would love to know the names of them so I could plant some of them. Flowers make my day!
A Chick-fil-A Bouquet is just the ticket for an impromptu Mother’s Day arrangement…I can even smell the aroma of the roses…Beautiful!
What a gorgeous bouquet you’ve created in the old urn from your retail days. I wish I could take a big whiff through my computer screen! Thanks for the beauty today and always!
I can just smell the scent of those gorgeous roses! Thanks for sharing their beauty! Pam @ Everyday Living
Truly spectacular! The roses are gorgeous and you’ve presented them beautifully Mary-enjoy:@)
beyond beautiful! what a gift!
Your BFF must have a truly breathtaking garden; what a wonderful variety of roses she has.
The close up photos of your roses took my breath away. God is an amazing creator, isn’t He?
I would much prefer a bouquet of old fashioned roses to a bouquet of chicken nuggets any day! The way you transformed them from cup to urn is indeed the work of very magic fingers! Just beautiful Mary!
The roses are stunning, and I love how you added greenery to your urn. So pretty! I feel very blessed to know you. Your garden and kitchen bring so much light into the world.
Oh your Chik-Fil-A bouquet is gorgeous…How great of your BFF to bring you those exceptionally gorgeous roses from her garden…and then you turn it into a bouquet that would adorn a table of a 5 star restaurant…but Chik-Fil-A is close! I am sure it was your pleasure to receive and your BFF’s pleasure to give. I do love that piece as a vase!
i could look at flowers endlessly…
Just gorgeous! I wish we could go to Chik-fil-a to get an arrangement like that! Where in the world did you find that gorgeous urn with the birds? I just adore it!
Thank you Chris! I’ve had the urn for 20+ years, it’s from my retail days😀
