‘Hoppy’ Thursday!
🐇 🐇 🐇

How about a little retail therapy for the winter blues?
I have a case a spring fever with our warming temperatures
and stopped in HomeGoods, aka, ‘The Mothership’ ;)
to see what’s in store for spring . . .

Easter is early falling on March 31st this year.

There was plenty of Easter decor and dishes
to tempt myself and fellow table stylists and enthusiasts.

Just arriving from Cottontail Lane. . . a ‘fluffle’ of bunnies in every shape,
size, color and material imaginable. . .

I thought this hare was handsome with basket of tulips on his back . . .

A dapper bunny with bowtie pushing
a cart with chicks and Easter eggs. . . .

The twin to my bunny with basket was waiting to hop into someone’s cart. . .

You can see him with a basket of fragrant hyacinths, speckled eggs and stems of Charmelia:

And tulips, yellows roses and alstroemeria:

This little bunny creamer is a cousin to a pansy bunny pitcher
I purchased at HG many years ago. . .

See my ‘fluffle’ of bunnies in The Potting Shed:

Bunny teapots, pitchers, vases, cookie jars, plates and bowls galore . . .

If you’re looking for a moss bunny for spring,
hop on over before they’re gone!

Green and white toile bunny plates were back in stock. . .

If you find yourself in a napkin ring drought since Pier1 closed their doors,
there were cute bunny napkin rings in stock. . .

For those who share my love of the Irish, with St. Patrick’s Day
around the corner, there were leprechauns and shamrocks to be found,
along with a few pots of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Pour yourself a cuppa and sip from a shamrock teapot and teacups
for a St. Patick’s Day . . .

If you need a dose of sunshine, look no further than this sunny display
of lemon dinnerware, guaranteed to brighten your table! 🍋🍋🍋

How to Create a Lemon Vase Flower Arrangement and Alfresco Summer Table

Fans of blue and white will be happy to find this classic combination
in dinnerware and home decor . . .

In ginger jars, cachepots, decorative eggs and more.

And melamine dinnerware and acrylic glasses are in stock
for easy outdoor entertaining.

I was happy to see outdoor garden statuary, pots and birdhouses
starting to fill the shelves in anticipation of spring and gardening season.

These cute bunny statuaries with bird and butterfly
are part of Martha Stewart Home collection.

Stop 🛑!! So many goodies, too many choices! I tend to get overwhelmed when the stock is so full like that, and end up overanalyzing, trying to flip through the rolodex of my brain to remember what I have, and to make smart choices. Thank you for sharing the inventory so I can rest my eyes (and brain) when I do go, lol. I bought a similar rabbit with basket on his back at an estate sale last fall, concrete, with chippy paint, and I’m looking forward to bringing him out. I’m also looking forward to seeing your goodies put into service on the table and in the shed soon! Thanks, Mary, fun post!
Good morning, Mary. Yes, I have visited the Mothership (4 to be exact) recently trying to find your bird Valentine runner. But it wasn’t meant to be for me to find. But that didn’t mean I went home empty handed-lol. Your store must be huge. Thank you for showing and tempting us with all the goodies!
Thanks for the Easter tour at HomeGoods. I’ll be going there today!,
Sarah
My nearest Home Goods is about 25 miles away (maybe that’s a good thing!!!). But yes, I’m ready to pull out my bunny decor and I’m always ready to shop for more. Thanks so much for sharing
Good morning Mary ~ nothing more therapeutic in the doldrums of winter than the colors of spring. I will be heading over to our local “mothership” soon to take in all the inspiration. Will be decorating for Easter before we know it as I’m already starting to work on my Easter brunch menu. Hugs, Dorinda
Thank you for the virtual shopping trip Mary! Holy Wow, they are stocked up for Spring! Cuteness overload! I have been good lately, and have stayed away from my 2 favorite stores, HomeGoods and Hobby Lobby, I always buy too much :) Both of my houses are full of “stuff” and I don’t need to buy another thing, so it’s fun to shop visually 😂

Oh WOW!! In the Atlanta burbs we have several well stocked HG stores. Bunnies are my favorites. Can hardly wait to see which ones hop into my cart today. Thanks for the preview!!
The shopping trip was very nice! I never see this many items at my HG store! While all is beautiful, I must say my
MOTHER SHIP store is Hobby Lobby! But I thank you anyway and I have bought some nice things at HG! Again, thank you!
I love it…The Mothership!!!! You are so incredibly special and inspire so many of us daily!!!! Is there anything you can’t do???? I am working on a Mardi Gras dinner…and going to make several of your recipes..including King Cake martini….stay tuned!!!! Can’t wait to get to Home Goods and check out the holiday items. Thank you for the joy you bring me!
Oh my goodness! Your store is Home Goods Heaven! Lucky you. My store is nice but nothing like yours. Happy spring shopping!
Love the Drawer Planter! Everything you do is amazing!❤️❤️❤️
I am so envious, that you have a mothership that looks like that. I would walk away with a full cart. But alas I live in Canada and only can dream through you. Sigh !
I so enjoyed my armchair visit to HG. The Mothership never disappoints. So many lovely Soring items. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Clara❤️
Mary, your virtual tour is amazing this morning. I do love Home Goods. There are so many treasures to hop into our carts. I love all of the bunnies. From dishes, napkins, statues and linens, HG has it all. Decorating for an early spring definitely brings some happy moments. I wonder where you store all of your pretties. Happy Thursday❤️
So many great finds and ideas for spring, Easter and summer!! I love the green toile bunny plates and all the blue and white!! Thanks you for the inspiration….hope you’re having a wonderful week!
Oh my, Mary! I am glad HG is 60 miles from where I live or I would be in major trouble. Thanks for the retail and spring therapy on a cloudy morning with rain in the forecast. Happy Thursday!
Oh my gosh! I love all of the displays! Such inspiration!
What a fun day and for sure too many temptations! Lol By the time Valentine’s is over, I will be ready to start pulling out some spring things for sure, especially since we have had some days of unseasonably warm weather. Today was sunny and 57! Very strange for Michigan on the 8th of February! Oh, I wanted to mention I found my Dutch oven , at the very back of my pantry and hopefully this weekend, I will try making that wonderful bread you posted a few days ago. I am getting over bronchitis and an ear infection so finally feeling up to trying this yummy recipe. I think its just what the doctor ordered, lol! Thanks Mary, enjoyed shopping with you!
So much inspiration and time to start thinking about Easter decorating as it’ so early this year! Loved your HG tour which inspires me to go to my local HG, less than 5 miles away! Bunnies are my favorite!
Wow! I’m glad I don’t have a Mothership! I would be broke! The closest ones to me are 100 miles away. Keep posting your beautiful pictures!
I love HomeGoods so much but the nearest one to me is at least an hour away! The blue and white, the bunnies – I’m so ready for spring and warmer weather!!! Thank you for the preview!
Still snowing and raining here, Mary. So enjoyed getting out with you this morning and seeing so many fun and colorful pretties!
I don’t allow myself to darken the door at Home Goods as I have no impulse control when it comes to dishes and decor, so thank you for giving me a tour of some of items they are offering. I can’t wait to see what you bought and how you style it.
Mary, thank you so much for the retail therapy! I have been getting cabin fever. My hubby has been recovering from emergency surgery, and I haven’t been out much. spied several pretties on your recent trip to HomeGoods. I have a weakness for bunnies, and I’m afraid several would have hopped into my cart. Happy Thursday!
Oh, gosh…I hate i will miss going in this week. Just found out I was exposed to Covid yesterday so will have to lay low…and I always need blue and white. So many cute things, you already have. Fun post!
No shopping trips for me just yet, so it’s fun to see what you encountered on your shopping trip. I hope you took home one of those cute Pater Rabbits with wheelbarrow. I have plenty of moss bunnies in my stash. I’ll need to get some help to have my bins brought down from the attic. I thought ahead to bring a few Valentine things down before surgery. Still haven’t had the spunk to do any arranging, but moving in that direction. Thanks for sharing the shopping adventure. Fun to see!
I think I just overdosed on spring eye candy goodness. I was in HG recently and it is a good thing hubs was in the car waiting for me – he ran to the hardware store so I didn’t have much time – otherwise I’d have gone completely insane there. HG is truly the Motherlode. It is in the 60s here today – that has to be a record hi for mid Ohio – it’s unreal.
I haven’t been shopping, Mary, but I see some things that are tempting me from your photos. I may have to make a stop soon. I miss Tuesday Morning and Pier 1, that used to be in the same shopping area as HomeGoods. Our HG always has a long line for checking out and deters me from wanting to go. I hope you found some things that hopped into your cart. ❤️
Mary, how wonderful to have a home goods store close by. The closest one to me is an hour away! I’m planning a trip there soon. I can’t wait to see in person all the cute spring things and bunnies!
Thanks for the spring preview! Can’t wait to see what you have planned to show us this spring!
Many thanks for all you do!
So excited when I see your emails!
Mary, I love the Mothership analogy and I had such a good laugh! I recognize some of the things that you have shown from our HomeSense but they didn’t have quite the collection that your store does, although I haven’t been in a few weeks. I have such a weakness for bunny stuff and I’m envious of the St. Paddy’s day selections because we never get those wonderful green items here – I adore the Belleek china. Thanks for the virtual shopping trip and I can’t wait to see what you ended up with. Happy Thursday!
Good Morning, Mary. I’m doing a happy dance when seeing all the Spring Decor! We have had a few days of rain here in AZ, so I am yearning for the sun to return and Spring wildflowers!
This post also reminds me to check out other Home Goods stores. The one I was just at had many different varieties of plates, bunnies, glassware, etc., than yours. I may head to another Home Goods across town to see their selection.
Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you, Mary for this wonderful virtual tour. I will have to get o HG soon. I am suffering with a pinched nerve in my back which gives me a LOT of pain in my leg so walking is VERY hard right now. If I get a day when the pain is lessened I will get there. I have been looking for a blue and white bunny for several years so the one you showed jumped right out at me! Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!!
The bunny small pitcher reminds me the Fitz & floyd Halcyon collection I bought years. In case anyone wants more. Have fun!
Hugs,
JoAnn
That was fun, fun FUN, beam me up Scotty! I can’t drive anymore, gone are my days of lingering in the aisles, touching, pondering, man handling, now its run in and run out with husband in hand… This is one past time I miss!
I want it all!!! Especially the bronze bunny with the butterfly on his nose! As always, thanks for sharing all the things!
Have a wonderful day!
