By the time August rolls around after a hot and humid summer,
I’m ready for autumn leaves and pumpkins please!

I popped in HomeGoods for some retail therapy and to see what’s in store.
I found all kinds of goodies ranging from Harvest
to Halloween to Thanksgiving.

Regular readers know my love of Halloween
and that HomeGoods is my favorite haunt!

The Witching Hour is just 83 days away and
I’m ready to scare up some inspiration and spooky fun!

🕸️🧹🎃🦇💀🧡

Judging by how quickly items had vanished from the shelves between my visits a week apart,
I’m not the only one cackling with glee in anticipation of Halloween! <|;>)

Rod and Rowena were tickled to see a few friends
that were hanging around at HomeGoods. . .

They said everyone needs a skellie wine chiller / butler!

I always cruise the dish aisles to do some dish scouting and spotting when I pop in. . .

“Love you to the Bones” is how Rod feels about his bride, Rowena. . .

Rod and Rowena are tea enthusiasts and love a
Rowena was tempted to buy these Grace Teaware teacups. . .
she said the family resemblance is uncanny!

I thought these Halloween plates and mugs were adorable and perfect
for keeping the ‘Happy’ in Halloween. . .

Fall is my favorite season. . .
Hello Pumpkin. . . I’ve missed you!

All kinds of pumpkins are ready to pick
from the shelves. . . ceramic, glass, wood, resin, knit . . .

Blingy and beaded galore.

Royal Stafford plates get gobbled up as soon as they hit the shelves
as people pick them up to resell on eBay and Etsy.

I was swooning over these Royal Stafford turkey plates and
added a few to add to my ‘rafter’ of turkeys. . .

I thought this was a handsome “Tom” Turkey on these stoneware plates.

Royal Stafford ‘Chantilly’ Turkey are available again this year. . .

Royal Stafford Chantilly Pheasant, Turkey and Stag plates are a bargain at $6.99 each
as opposed to $20 at Replacements.

Whooooooo besides me is ready for fall and pumpkin season?

Oh my!! I keep telling my bestie she needs to finish getting unpacked from her move two weeks ago so we can go shopping together again….and she went without me!! (She was on a mission for a mirror).
I just purchased what looks like those Chantilly plates….should’ve gone to HG first! What a great preview to the season. Thanks for sharing!!
Mary, Home goods is such a fun store to visit. I always find something while visiting. Love the fall and Halloween decor they offer. A trip in the near future is on my radar. Thanks for the tour. Happy weekend.
Mary…..I find myself wishing for fall….and Halloween decorating too! I have never been to Home Goods ….its about 25 miles from me but I am going soon! I have a life size witch for my porch but I think I need a skeleton couple too! It was great seeing Rod and Rowena. Thanks for the great pictures of the store. More incentive to visit it. Peace!
Mary you have the BEST HomeGoods there…. I have a friend that lives off Lake Norman and when I visit we always go to HomeGoods.
I wish Home Goods wasn’t 60 miles away! I suppose that is a good thing, since I am a dishaholic. Thank you for the retail therapy, Mary!
Happy Friday 🧡🖤🧡
You are going to make me go to Homegoods today aren’t you! I’m dying to find some of the smiling cat mugs and plates.
Mary, the closest Home Goods store is about an hour from me. But I’m planning a trip next week. I hope they will have some of the spooky plates. Maybe Rod and Rowena’s friends/cousins will come home with me!!
I can’t wait for fall! Thanks so much for the virtual shopping trip!
Hi Mary ! Oh autumn…my very favorite time of year. And after the yucko of the summer we have had in NW CT, I am more than ready for some crisp, cool weather. I think I will pop over to our local Homegoods for some retail therapy myself ! Hugs, Dorinda 🧡🖤🌻🎃👻🦇
Mary, I love it when you share your HG store with us. I went to one of ours this past week. They have the best stuff at reasonable prices. The stemless witch glasses are cute and the Halloween themed dishes! Of course, everything is desirable, it’s hard to pick what you like best! I have the Royal Staffordshire pheasant plates. In years past, they also offered foxes and turkeys in the center of the plates as well. I loved seeing what your store offers. Happy Friday! Clara❤️
Mary, do you get many Trick or Treaters? Our numbers have dropped over the past couple years.
TGIF!
I haven’t been to HG in ages, thank you for the virtual tour! They have so many cute Halloween things, wow! I am trying not to buy any more “stuff,” as I have 2 houses full! I’m ready for some fall touches and pumpkin love. I’m looking forward to more of your always fun and fabulous Halloween posts Mary!

Love, love, love this post! I worked at Home Goods before the pandemic. I know that I never ‘broke even’, I always spent more than I made! I loved my co-workers and the management, and of course, seeing all the new items coming in! I still visit at least once a week with my daughter, who’s addicted to it too! You do such a wonderful job with your blog Mary. I always get a big smile on my face when I see it in my mailbox.
Bring on Autumn!!! It seems all I do these days is water, deadhead, dehydrate, repeat. A trip to Home Goods is just what the doctor ordered…thanks for the reminder that the store shelves fill up with treats early.
Thanks so much for sharing the Home Goods selection with us. It’s so much fun to shop from my armchair even if I buy nothing.
I will have to check our HG SOON!! I think those stag plates are GORGEOUS. BUT, I can not buy any more dishes, my poor kids will have a JOB when I’m gone. I am looking forward to using my leaf plates gifted from a very special person:):). Have a great weekend. We are getting the remnants of Debby. A tornado touched down in a shopping center right across the road from our HG and ripped the roof off the grocery store there!!!! Thank God no one was injured.
May I blame you for my shopping trip at the mother store today?? I couldn’t resist after looking at your post – I love Halloween like you do!
I all for a good Summerween Party!
I just love you Mary!
Your Home Goods store is much nicer than ours! I have found some pretty fall things at Target and Kohl’s. I really love the vintage looking black cat plates. They are darling! I had a black cat Halloween costume when I was in First Grade, and the mask looked like it!
Thank You Mary for sharing all these goodies. Fall is the best season and Halloween is great, too.
HAPPY FALL
Joan,Marilyn and Marion
Mary, I think I need a trip to Home Goods tomorrow. Those Royal Stafford plates are calling my name, though of course I don’t need more! What is it about this obsession? Or is it addiction? Like you, I’m eager for fall. The heat of summer is lingering and things outdoors look sad. I seriously wish I had a solution for planting something that would stay perky through the summer months. I’m slowly transitioning with a few fall things. Normally patriotic stays out till Labor Day, but this summer I’m ready to pack it away. Thanks for the visual HG visit. You have me inspired!
What a fun preview to fall! Those Chantilly plates caught my eye. I may need to take a trip to Home Goods soon!
Thanks for the tour!
Wow Mary, your HG has so much to offer! My favorite thing was that cute owl teapot. I haven’t been to HG in quite awhile. I may to make a trip! Happy Sunday. 😊
Thank you for sharing! Everything looks so amazing there!
