I’m from Pittsburgh and we think it’s time to put that blasted groundhogs down! Hoping above hope that he’s just senile and can no longer be accurate😈!
I feel your pain Chloe. Heading for Ohio next week where they predict snow. I say we all move to an island where if it gets below 80 you grab a sweater.
Me too!! I bought some indoor plants just to see green again and have started planning our first Garden Club meeting in March! It’s going to be 50 here, in the Hoosier state tomorrow so we get just a small taste. I will be looking for something to do outside tomorrow! Hang in there, pretty little girl.
Chloe– I feel the same way! And I think our winter may be just a tad worse than yours. It’s -20 here in Upstate New York State this morning. Hang in , Honey!
Poor Chloe. Take heart. Our Georgia groundhog, General Beauregard Lee, predicted an early Spring for the South, and he boasts a 94% accuracy rate. Yay…bring on Spring. You’ll be outside playing before you know it.
I believe it is cold everywhere.💨 I am waiting for spring!! Yes indoor plants at least gives us a spring of hope.i hope it warms up a bit I need my walks! By the way we made those crab bites and they were a hit! Yum! Have a great weekend!😊🌴
Mornin’ Miss Chloe , We can’t even get out of our Back Door here . Snow keeps falling from the r
oof , shakes the whole house and out with the shovels we go ! Only a FOOT or more of the White Stuff for Sun. and Mon.’s long duration Snow Fall . Thank Goodness I can Sew . March 1st can’t get here soon enough ( That’s my unoffical start to Spring ) ! Luv
I love it so much when you post pictures of your precious pups :-) My daughter and son-in-law got a tea cup black poodle for Christmas and we have so much fun with her. There is just nothing as sweet as babies and dogs.
So ADORABLE! I love the shot of her swimming… winter is upon us here, no resting, more like nail biting, my first scary storm on the coast. I still have to walk my girls, patio furniture is crashing, the house rattling and very angry seas… heavy rain due any minute and I have to go out in this? Move over chole, ask your mama to make me something hot and sweet while we snuggle down on the sofa!
Adorable photos of the girls. It’s a frosty 27 degrees on the hill this morning. Supposed to warm up, then turn cold again. Still, I’m putting my hope in Georgia’s groundhog, General Beauregard Lee.
That darn groundhog! It is freezing here too, 25 now but the winds chills earlier were below 0!!!! This is crazy. Chloe, I feel your pain sweetie. You and Gracie and the cutest dogs in blogland. Enjoy your naps:)
Thanks for this post – It made my day! I was home sick on Monday and ended up watching Groundhog Day three times – It was a marathon. In the meantime we can look forward to receiving your posts. I love those cuties!
Chloe is part of a huge group with the Punxsutawney Blues….I hear there is a great support group!….Looks like she is dreaming of the day that she can frolic on the boat with her pal Gracie!…I would miss those times too!!! Have a great weekend Mary!
Chloe and Gracie are just precious!! Darn that groundhog!! Our girl Shortie is longing for warmer weather and she will get her wish this weekend as it will be in the 50’s tomorrow and around 63 on Sunday.
We have had just about enough of this snow too!! Thank goodness we are heading south soon! We just love to go and check out the palm trees and birds and stuff that we cannot see here! Hang in there Chloe … spring will be here…at some point!
My name is Beth & I live in south central Pa. We have our own beloved groundhog named Octorara Orphie & he has a much better predicting record than Phil. He did not see his shadow this year so SPRING is right around the corner. Your wishes for all your favorite summer things will be here soon.
Hi Chloe, I’m the only one in my family who is happy to see the snow. I don’t do much rolling in it anymore or leaping through the drifts but just the sight of it makes my tail wag and I still love eating it! My mom and dad are sick of it though and today we are getting ice pellets all night which I do not like! My four legs go in four directions and my dad has to help me walk on the ice. I hope you have a nice, cozy nap today! Sweet dreams! Love, Nellie
Hi Chloe and Gracie, my Lola feels the same way. The snow banks are TOO high and she cannot “snoog” in them because she can’t reach them. There’s no place to walk since the roads are covered with ice and snow melt (not pet friendly either),.and we can’t wait to see the ground again. The poor birds can’t find food,
OH those faces! Talk about a picture is worth 1000 words! The photos you’ve chosen are so precious, and tell their tale of woe~ I bet a gingerbread man biscuit would perk them up! We are expecting 65 and sunny today, woo hoo, but shhhh don’t tell anyone up North…I can imagine dealing with all that snow day after day, especially with kids and dogs. Boating weather is on the horizon, I am always glad to see January leave. Stay cozy, and tell your little cuties that it will be picnic weather soon!

Aww, your bichons are adorable! I wish that my bichon would let me put a sweater on her, but alas, she does not. I love the picture of the two of them sleeping.

So funny, Debra!
Hang in there Chloe sweetie, I wasn’t happy with Punky Phil either! What do they know anyway, don’t they live in a hole??? :@)
Absolutely adorable pictures! We’re a dog family, too, and our girls are not happy with the prediction either!
Our dog, Lucky is right with you Chloe. So is Dixie, our kitten. Come on spring and summer we need some sun and warm air blowing in their ears.

Island living’s sounding pretty good to us, safe travels Carolyn! Hope to see you soon ♥

I bet she’s adorable Linda. My MIL has a 3 lb. Maltipoo, I’m tempted to sneak her out in my handbag and bring her home with us every time we visit :)
TOO CUTE!!!
I live in Fl. It’s been pretty cold here too. Once we get back to normal temperatures, I’ll blow some of that warm air up your way!

Hi Vanessa, You were living Groundhog Day if you watched it 3x, such a funny movie :) Hope you’re feeling better.
I adore your photos of your Bichon’s. We had a bichon named Nicky for 16 years before he passed away. I miss him.
I love your fur babies. They are so adorable. Hang in there girls, this too whall pass!
Hang in their babies or take a road trip to Vegas. It’s 72 today. Heading down to the cold weather and the sixties next week. March is pool weather.
Eeek! No way to edit! Make that “Hang in there babies!”. Jeesh……
Wow lucky you Cheryl! My hubby says my comfort zone is 68 – 72, anything above or below and I’m too hot or too cold :)

As much as I love winter, I’m ready for some sunshine. It’s been so gloomy here this winter. I’m with Chloe, I’ve got the Punxsutawney Blues.
Bless their hearts! Cupcake, Cowboy and I know just how y’all feel. We can’t wait for Spring!
Hi Tracy, I’ve always loved your pups’ names :)

Too funny! I know just how they feel! I’d like to turn into a bear and not wake up until the Spring!
We have had just about enough of this snow too!! Thank goodness we are heading south soon! We just love to go and check out the palm trees and birds and stuff that we cannot see here! Hang in there Chloe … spring will be here…at some point!
Those furkids are just adorable. Thanks for the smile this morning.

Hope Chloe and Gracie are getting out now. My Mollie and I are enjoying the sun today in Del Rio, Texas. Best wishes to y’all! We love your website.
