Just beautifully classic Mary! This would be perfect for my dining room which has all pale aqua walls and cream chairs. It is challenging to decorate for the holidays with less traditional color schemes! Thank you so much!
Very serene and calming during a very hectic time! I love the centerpiece. WOW!! I’ve always wanted white dishes but have never found a pattern I like. These I like! Thanks for sharing..
P.S. I would like to know where you store all the beautiful dishes, stemware, silverware, tablecloths, napkins, chargers, etc. etc. etc.? Just curious??? If you can’t answer, I understand..
This is such a lovely tablescape with the white and beige. I love it. It is almost time to trade out my Fiesta for Mikasa Vanilla I cant wait. I love all my dishes. :-) And yours too!!!!
Mary, What a gorgeous pattern and centerpiece!! This would make a beautiful wedding table and china choice for a bride too. The grasses and pumpkins and wood charger contrasting with the more delicate white dishes is perfect. I have the Parchment Rouge dishes and I love them. Perhaps some of these will have to find their way here too… Linda
i LOVE it all!!! White pumpkins are my favorite and the way you used them in this tablescape is beautiful! At first I thought you had used a boa in the urn until I saw that it was grasses. I love how you always try to use nature in your posts. Always a winner!!!
The Parchment Engraved Mikasa dishes are so pretty and perfect for your softer side of Fall, Mary. The plaid throw is such a perfect table covering and I love those tree slices as chargers. Of course your centerpiece adds to the loveliness, along with your beautiful Lake Norman view…ahhhh!
Swoon Mary! The white pumpkin stack with the soft grasses is just breath taking! Love all the whites and neutral tones and the layer upon layer of textures, very stunning~ and full of pumpkins! LOVE LOVE it! One of my very favorite tables~

Oh Mary…this just takes my breath away!! The table speaks to me in so many ways…it is all the shades of my home & has all my favorite designs…swirls, plaids & fluff! Beautifully done!
I am sooooo tempted to take advantage of your kind discount, as I’ve been pondering buying French or Italian Countryside for over a year now, Just can’t make up my mind & now you’ve thrown in another choice. You’re a BAAAAD influence, Woman! :)
Wow, that centerpiece is gorgeous! These table settings have the perfect mix of elegant and rustic and is such eye candy. Really love the use of a blanket as a tablecloth as well :)
Oh, oh…NO ONE’S fountain grass is going to be safe….that is just ingenious!! I adore how it curls around the top of the urn….yup, out to harvest grass!! franki
Love, Love, Love this neutral tablescape. The centerpiece is stunning. Did you slice your chargers yourself. I priced them at World Market and they were rather expensive. Have enjoyed your take on the Fall season.
Mary, I had to take a second look at the grasses, wondering what you had used. Then when I read that you had used grasses, I realized what it was. The grasses make a soft bed for the pumpkins. I’m going to try that myself. I’ve used Spanish moss, but the soft grass gives a totally different look.
Your alfresco setting is as lovely as ever. We have sunshine again after days of grey skies and much needed rain. It’s a perfect fall morning here!
Casual and yet classic. Love this soft take on Fall…
Your use of the soft grasses reminds me once, a few years ago, when our Inn was competing in the Village Christmas Decorating Contest… We used to put multi strings of lights at the top of the building and the edges of the eaves, but I also loved decorating the façade with natural material…During December, the old, fallow sugar cane fields will burst in blooms…tall, soft, silky grayish-pink plumes…My son and I drove around the back roads looking for the fluffiest we could find…We tied sugar cane stalks topped with plumes on the pillars that framed our doors, tied with woven hemp and decorated with stems of bright red coffee cherries and placed old sprouting coconuts on the floor at the base… It did look beautiful…but as the plumes got a bit ‘older’ the wind would blow the feathery bits all over – sort of when you blow on a dandelion…oh, boy…Never again will I use them. no matter how pretty. We were finding fluff for months inside the building…like sugar cane bloom dust bunnies!
Great tablescape and especially like the stacked pumpkins in your creamy urn. The walnuts and little white pumpkins at the base are perfect with your plaid throw. Love the feathery soft grass too. Glad to know from one of the comments it is fountain grass. Clever to use that. You pair accessories so well.
I love the soft side of fall look. So different from the usual fall colors. Actually it has a very peaceful look. The center piece is so beautiful. Thanks for posting this.
Loving the softer side of Fall tablescape with that glorious backdrop of the lake. Beautiful dinnerware that is enhanced by the wonderful texture and color of the tree slice chargers. Your tablescapes are truly a work of art!
Oh, Lady, you just keep them coming….I love this…as I love all your settings. Maybe it’s the magic of the lake, no it’s the magic of your artistry, Smiles, Sandi
Love, love love this table. just beautiful, and love that it is in the neutral colors……
and the lake in the background takes the prize every single time…………..lol
Blessings, Nellie
Generally, I am more of a color fan but your Fall table in shades of cream and white is quite gorgeous. I particularly like the addition of the feathery grasses to the centerpiece. Lovely!
Almost missed this one!!! It is gorgeous!!!! While I am getting kind of tired of seeing all the white kitchens and white living rooms on Instagram – this neutral setting is so striking!! The grass between the pumpkins and the little bit of fringe on the plaid table cloth is what sets it over the edge of beautiful and onto stunning for me!!!

Hi Ellen, I don’t keep all my sponsored dinnerware, there isn’t anywhere to store it all! I hope to do a post soon on where I store what I have :)

Thanks Carolyn! I got them at Bed, Bath & Beyond last year. They are pricey but I used my 20% coupons on them so I saved a little that way :)
