I love creating a table or centerpiece to add some fun and celebrate the holidays, and Valentine’s Day is no exception! In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, I’m joining group of bloggers for a Valentine’s Day Tablescape Blog Hop.
You’ll find more Valentine table inspiration from 23 bloggers and table stylists at the bottom of this post.
My inspiration for my arrangement and centerpiece for this Valentine-themed table came from this “Farm Fresh Flower Shop, Fresh Cut for Valentine’s Day” pillow cover with a red truck.
Typical of a florist’s shop on Valentine’s Day, my truck is loaded down with flowers. . . alstroemeria in shades of white, pink and red, pink mums, blue hydrangeas and red roses.
With the rear of the truck as full as the front.
The truck is out for delivery for Valentine’s Day, motoring down a black and white buffalo check runner. . .
Hearts and flowers go hand-in-hand on Valentine’s Day. . .
Assorted floral heart plates are served up with black and white buffalo check and framed with white chargers and beaded placemats, adding a little sparkle for Valentine’s Day.
Floral napkins are paired with black and white check, with floral napkin rings, adding some additional blooms for the table.
Red mercury glass votives add a little shimmer and join red rose petals, strewn down the length of the table.
In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing some dish love and giving away a set of 6 assorted 9-inch floral heart-shaped plates to one winner.
Motor over HERE to enter the giveaway and for a chance to win.

Delightful table, Mary. I love the heart plates and how you layered your plate stack. The buffalo check runner, red mercury glass votives and strewn rose petals accent your Valentine’s Day delivery red truck full of beautiful flowers perfectly.
I really do like all the colors you used together in your flower arrangement and those sequined platemats are so striking.

I honestly get so excited to see your tablescapes, and this is no exception. Your use of elements and phrasing is always delightfully clever (“the truck is out for delivery, motoring down a black and white buffalo check runner…”). The truck and its floral filled bed looks amazing, and so do the plate stacks and accoutrements. I love how you tie it all together for such a great presentation. I am more than pleased to be in your company and continuously learn new ideas from you, Mary. Happy February!
ps – totally forgot Amethyst being February’s birthstone. My February daughter would be quick to remind me I forgot that too!
