Can you believe February is just a few days away? With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I have an easy no-bake treat to make your celebration extra sweet!
This Valentine’s Day Bark treat is to snap to assemble and ready in 30 minutes, the time it take for the candy coating to set! More of a procedure than a recipe, you can customize this Valentine’s Day bark using the candy and sprinkles of your choice. I used Valentine M&M’s and pink and red heart sprinkles for this bark, but the beauty of this festive and easy recipe, is that you can adjust this no-bake treat for any holiday or occasion –> hop over to see Easter Bunny Bark.
In addition to your candy and sprinkles, you’ll need graham crackers and candy coating or almond bark. You can find almond bark on the baking aisle near the chocolate chips. Substitute white chocolate chips or candy melts for almond bark if you prefer. I like the CandiQuik brand for the convenience of the disposable, microwaveable tray, but any brand will work.
Valentine’s Day Bark
Ingredients
16-ounce package vanilla-flavored candy coating/ almond bark
Chocolate graham crackers
M&M’s and/or candy of choice
Decorative sprinkles/nonpareils
Method:
Line a *rimmed baking sheet with wax or parchment paper so paper extends over the edges of the pan. Arrange the graham crackers so that they’re butted up against one another, piecing together as needed to fill the bottom of your pan. Melt almond bark according to package directions. Pour melted almond bark over the top of graham crackers, spreading it evenly over the surface.
Add your candy and sprinkles to the top while your almond bark is warm. Lightly press the larger pieces of candy into melted almond bark to make sure they’re anchored. Allow to cool until set, about 30 minutes. (You can refrigerate the bark to speed up setting process if needed.)
Using edges of paper, remove bark from sheet pan and transfer to cutting board. Use the tip of a knife to break/cut bark into pieces.
*I used an 11 x 15 rimmed baking sheet. Adjust quantity of ingredients as needed.

After making your Bunny Bark last springtime, I’ve been wanting to make more, Mary. It was such a yummy treat! Thank you for reminding me about it. I will pick up some more ingredients to make with my sweet kitchen partner, for an after-school Valentine project! xx
What a great idea Mary, I have made peppermint bark for Christmas and just love your Valentines suggestion. Just love the graham Crackers on the bottom.

Sounds like the perfect sweet treat Mary:@)
I must be a little bit slow. When I first saw the email and the word bark I immediately thought of Chloe and Gracie and thought it was a treat for them and something I could make for our GrandDog. Then I saw the recipe. I love this and must try it.
Thanks for the recipe Mary. Will make this for my grandsons. They love a sweet treat!!
How did you do the cake for the mini King Cake Parfaits?
The parfaits are layered with a traditional yellow cake and a cinnamon buttercream frosting, tinted in the colors of Mardi Gras. Use any box cake mix for your cake: https://homeiswheretheboatis.net/2017/02/27/king-cake-mini-parfaits-for-mardi-gras/
What a delight! Gorgeous captures of this sweet treat!
As fast as January has gone, it’s scary to think what that means for the rest of the year.
Bark is super pretty – would love to receive something like this!
