Love the color. The banana pudding in the jars looks delicious.
Nothing like a mason jar. .Best for flowers for sure!
Love mason jars.love the pudding in them.
Just love the color of these new jars. I love to use for flowers and Chia pudding and overnights oats loaded with summer berries
Love the jars. I can think of so many, many ways to use them. Endless opportunities, vases, pen holder, desserts!!!
Ooh the color is so pretty! I would serve pink lemonade in these Jars and bring on a picnic with my 3 beautiful little grand girls!
Hi Mary. I love your posts! They inspired me a lot since i visited the first time your website. I am new in canning. I started last year. I had used it just for canning pickled vegetables and a few jams. But this year I will try to use in more inspirations. Just seeing today your site I can use it in many more things! Thanks. Carmen.
Good Morning! I, too, love jars…all kinds. I save all kinds of jars that food/spices come in and as a canner for nearly 40 years I have lots of mason jars but then one can never have to many jars.🤣 I pinned the picture of the candle in my Christmas decorating folder plus saved the photo of the vintage jars to order if I don’t win. I am always looking for jars when antiquing. In fact, I just ordered six 72 ounce jars to organize the flowers/ herbs I am drying to feed/ share with my chickens this winter when my supply of fresh is limited. I would use the vintage jars for flowers and desserts. Have a great day. Peace. PS I am having a glass of milk in a mason jar mug as I write this.
I look forward to your emails every day. I have a thing for Mason jars and am thinking pink lemonade and pink hydrangeas. Plan to pin lots of your ideas!
Where to begin? I love what you do wit the jars. I’ll be using mine for flowers and the delicious looking desserts on your site.
Definitely would use for Tablescapes. I love all of your ideas, especially the patriotic. They would also be great as a hostess gift for 4th of July with sparklers, flags, candy, and red, white, and blue ribbon.
I too have a hard and dish fetish. Too many. I save little yogurt glass jars too. So useful. The new pinkish jars are perfect for my pretty very pale pinkish bathroom. Of course the blue vintage are collected here too! Will pin and check your Amazon page! Tyvm
I LOVE old jars and these are a beautiful reproduction. I can think of many uses for these beauties.Using as a vase and would definitely try some of your desserts at my next cook out.
I absolutely Love your blog, I’m a follower and share some of your great ideas and pictures on Facebook.
I use ball jars for many things too. One of the things I did was make 200 jars of jam for my Granddaughters wedding.
She put a cute sign on the table, Take one of Gram’s Jam’s.
Definitely for the table. Holding beautiful garden blooms or delicious desserts!
I would use them for all those things! Crafting, canning, food and flowers! Just not at the same time.
What Beautiful Ball jars! My favorite way to use the jars is for flowers! These vintage pink Ball jars would be lovely in the home but also on wedding reception tables!
Jars are so useful & I love all the different shapes. My husband now won’t get rid of one without asking first. Just saved a Bud vase type one that held balsamic vinegar. All you Grandmoms out there can make Memory Jars for your Grands this summer to hold special finds from the beach & other trips, photos, etc. The fabulous garden designer, Ryan Gainey was a big proponent of these🌹
Just love the rose color! Would definitely add flowers when in bloom. But would use one to hold cotton balls and another for bath crystals in the bathroom. Might also place strings of old pearls and sparkly rhinestone jewelry in another with the miniature battery powered lights. Bonnie
Growing up in a rural dairy town in upstate New York I once resented all jars Mason or Ball! Every summer into fall I had to wash than help my mother fill the jars with endless amounts of spaghetti sauce, vegetables, jams and jellies! Standing over a boiling pot on hot summer days when I’d rather be swimming in the neighbors pond. I used to be embarrassed to offer my friends kool aid or sweet tea in the chipped jars. Now at 65 I can’t get my hands on enough of these jars!!! I love to use them for fresh flowers. I serve sweet tea to my family and friends out of these jars and I’m even starting to put up my own spaghetti sauces and jams! With these beautiful lavender texture jars I would gladly display the wildflowers that grow in the meadow across the way from me.
I’d use them for my morning smoothie that color would give me an added smile to start my morning as well as using them around the farm for flowers especially when my best friend visits she loved fresh cut my farms hydrangeas in her room.
Love all your pictures and ideas always great 💓
I love little take home gifts when company comes to visit! Sugar scrub is now my July 4th take home! Thanks!
This beautiful pink vintage Ball jar is perfect for fresh flowers!
I pinned one of your pictures for inspiration!
I love to use mason jars for all seasons. Use as table decorating with flowers picked from the yard. When entertaining use for refreshing drinks.
Where did you find the bee jars please
I love the color and your styling using them! I’d use them for lemon curd, desserts and of course, after seeing your pictures, flowers.
Definitely for flowers! I had no idea they made the mason jars in pretty colors!
We use BALL jars for anything!
Always shoppers by for Ball. Love this color, but I enjoy any Ball jar.
I am also an can user. Nothing prettier than a colorful large olive oil can with colorful label.
Look forward to your every post!
These pink/mauve jars are so pretty. I love the way you use your ball jars for everything. Right now I have a bunch of old blue ones sitting over my island in my kitchen. Believe it or not, I use some of the small ball jars to store paint, usually my really good paint, like Annie Sloan, etc. They keep the paint in good condition and look real pretty in a display. That way I don’t have to keep opening and closing the paint can. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas with us.
Hi Mary, I love seeing your newest addition to ‘Home is where the boat is’ in my email box. I am a long-time Mason jar user. I especially enjoy the recipes and all the photos of your blooms!
I have used Ball and Mason jars for decades for storing food, leftovers, displaying flowers (I especially like Peonies and Lilacs set on the table in a quart Mason jar!). A few years ago I discovered lids for jars to use them as drink glasses, and also to store my favorite scouring mix (Baking Soda and Borax) for cleaning. These versatile jars have so many uses I find them to be just about the most versatile items in my kitchen.
Thank you for your lovely blog, each one I read always brightens my day.
I love old jars too and use them for vases and storing little things like buttons etc. My sweet little granddaughter has a special one she always drinks out of! I’m going to try some of your dessert ideas and would love to win the new ones!
The rose BALL jars are beautiful! Great for decorating.
I’d rather use these canning jars for vases than Baccarat or Waterford!! If they were good enough for Bunny Mellon, they’re good enough for me!!! Love them!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful ideas, delicious recipes, and gorgeous photos! I don’t have any ball jars – just a painting of one in blue holding hydrangeas. I’d love to paint another in that beautiful “pink”, but honestly all your ideas have my mind spinning! You may have sparked a new collection!
These jars are very pretty! But did I see one with a bee hive on it??? OMG! Where did that come from?
Hi Kim, The jars with the bee skep design are Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni Jars, available on Amazon HERE.
I would definitely use mine for flowers especially now that my daisies are blooming!
I pinned the mason jar candle lamps. What a cool Christmas craft! My Pinterest is full of pins from you blog :)
Oh my, what a fun way to serve dessert! I have used so many of your ideas at our lake house in the summer and the compliments are never ending! I would definitely use the jars for food and also love love love hydrangea in a jar! Thanks so much for sharing!!

I too subscribe by email and follow on FB…I seen the jars in a Country magazine some time ago but have not yet seen them in the store! They would be a welcome addition to my collection!
Mary, I love your blog so much! I start my day each morning by reading it. Gives me a bit of inspiration! The new vintage ball jar color would be perfect for a vase of flowers in similar shades of lavender and purple in the fall! Another tablescape idea!
I pinned the jar with the dessert! It looks so yummy!!!
Those pink jars would be perfect for sharing zinnia bouquets with my friends
love all your ideals for the Balls! i would use some for flowers & for food service on the go; so easy for pickles, tomatoes, carrots, etc. to back & travel to desentation! Plus this time of tear, any drink with ice packed!!
I love jars as much as you and the gals here. Use everyday and have a collection of antique ones. I would love this color for some flower arranging and dry food storage use. Our pantry’s need some pretty color, too.
I would mostly use them for flowers and canning. Love my jars too!! Thanks for sharing.
I use Ball Jars for everything…soup to nuts!
Your blog always inspires. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.
HI Mary, Pinned away this morning! Love Ball jars. We have an arena named after Ball! Happy Friday!
I use ball jars for beverages every day. They have been put to so many uses in my home. I have old blue ones from my husbands grandmother that I display. Just love them all!
Good morning ☕. I have a dear friend who is going through radiation treatments, so she would be my first recipient of a pretty jar filled with a floral arrangement or maybe an assortment of tea bags, because we like to have tea together. She has a sweet screened in porch with pink floral cushions, pillows and all of the things on her wicker furniture. One of these jars would have a perfect home there. I can think of so many ideas for the other three, two to give away and one to stay behind ☺️. Have a wonderful Friday, Mary.
I hope this gets to you for the ball jar giveaway. I haven’t figured out how to send a comment to your site. I’ve tried several times. If you do get this, I use ball jars for so many things. When I lived in Rhode Island, I used to make homemade grape jelly from my mother-in-laws grapevines. Here, in Florida, I don’t make it anymore. However, I use ball jars for everything from flower arrangements to putting candy corn and a candle in the jar for Halloween. I would love to win ball jars.
Thank you so much. I appreciate you!!
Phyllis
Hi Phyllis, Your comment came through, they sometimes go into a moderation folder for me to approve. :)
The rose color is so pretty. I like to use the jars as portable vessels for picnics and casual dining. A great container for a salad or dessert.
I will use the jars for floral displays in my home
Pinned photo
I love the pink jars! Don’t remember ever seeing those before! (Have seen masons with flat sides for stacking!) If I were to win, I think I’d make the holiday floating wick candles for all my friends! I checked out that blog as well and the candle with just roses would be great now!!! Love your blogs and forward to friends and family on a regular basis as you have such beautiful ideas! Thank you for sharing!🤗
So beautiful! Pinned to my Pinterest board for all to see. I would make a batch of my popular strawberry margarita jam to show off these unique jars!
Oh, my heavens, those are lovely! What couldn’t I do with them? I would use them for my roses, my pickles, my crafting! The ideas are endless. So gorgeous.
I am a subscriber of your delightful blog! Love your tablescapes and floral bouquets.
Oh, those new “pink” jars are so pretty. I’d probably put flowers in them but making layered desserts in them would be fun, too. I have some of the purple ones but they are dark purple. I like this color better!
I pinned and saved and pinned one of the pretty bouquets!
I subscribed and get email notices of your blog posts, which I enjoy.
Vases. I would love to use them as vases. Gorgeous with summer’s vibrant hues but the pink/mauve would add interest to a fall bouquet of sunflowers and wheat stalks.
Seriously. I need these jars! I have pinned to my Pinterest board “Mason jars make me happy”. Truth! Love your blog. Always have. Thank you.
Pinned a photo of the pretty pink jars.
What a beautiful way to start this sunny day with your email of such lovely antique looking glass jars. I think Ball did a wonderful job of creating old glass and a color of days gone by. I would be displaying them in my windows with all of my other jars. I love to see the way the the sun light streams through them. I am lucky to have wide window ledges it is just like stain glass to me. Thank you for making my days brighter with your emails. You can’t go wrong with flowers, dogs, good food, and friends like you Mary. Thanks for coming into my email. I was very luck to have found you years ago.
Wow.. love that hammered glass look. I adore using these jars for flowers, esp the old blue ones. i pinned the pic with the empty mauve jar, so very cool. I have a couple of the “frog flower tops” but have forgotten to use them. Thanks for the reminder. Lovely post.
So pretty! Flowers for sure.
What a beautiful color they are! And I love the texture as well. I would use these for flowers or maybe store cotton balls, etc. on my bathroom counter.
That color is gorgeous! I’d probably use them for flowers most of the time – but I’d use them for drink glasses with my vintage Homer Laughlin china :)
So many sweet memories over the years, you have always been so kind and generous to your readers!
Beautiful color. I have a 40 year collection of antique or vintage turquoise ball jars and during the slower COVID times I labeled each of them with their dates. It amazing what I can get done in 40 yrs. 😆 my mom had a few pieces of her mother’s depression glass, the only thing memento she had as her mom died young. They are mauve pink so I would use these mauve jars with that set as drinking glasses or flower vases.
Good morning, Mary. I love your blog and am a long-time reader. Thank you for giving us so many beautiful tablescapes ,delicious recipes and beautiful photos to enjoy. I love Ball jars and would use these for flowers and food.
My Mother arranges flowers and takes them to the local nursing homes for the residents who don’t have family that visits them.
I’ll give them to my Mother.

My dishware is Grandma’s Kitchen by Pfaltzgraff. I can just imagine my tablescape with the addition of those beautiful ball jars as both vase and floating candles with lemons and greenery to pick up the yellow in the dishes. Lovely, lovely luncheon with my friends. They often tease me for dressing my table for the holidays and seasons. Thank you for so many special ideas and inspirations.
I love them for flowers and layered desserts for the kids.
These jars are beautiful! So many ways to use them but I think I would share with friends…”Favorite Gifts Party” and fill with a sugar scrub. Sharing the love!
I too love old jars and like to use for flowers, pencil and craft supply cups and storing and displaying old sewing supplies like rick rack, bias tape and thread. Love the new color and wavy glass!
Oh Mary what a fabulous array of all your posts using jars! We have a collection of my Mother’s canning jars(they are 50+ years old.) Then add ours to the collection… well, you get the picture. We love them all! I have many colors including red and would love this pink or lavender. If I do not win… I’ll be ordering from the link you shared. I’ll use them for beverages at the table. Thanks so much for sharing and for the giveaway! Happy weekend to you!
💗💜
I would definitely use them for your yummy dessert in a jar recipes.
Our house has a large pantry with a refinished antique sink, lots of places to display my transferware and antique implements, and happily, long narrow shelves to display my antique jars that hold cereal, pasta, dried beans, sugar, etc. Not only can I easily find what I am looking for, I also get to look at all of my jars! Each one is unique and has memories of where they came from.
So many ways to use…filled with flowers, pink lemonade…or just sitting on the window ledge, letting the sun shine thru…
The pink mason jars are lovely. I would use them for loose flower arrangements or maybe for desserts. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this lovely post .
I am planning on canning french green beans with dill and jalapeno peppers!
After the beans are gone I would save the jars for floral display
These new Pinkish Ball Mason jars are so very pretty. I would love to put some pale pink peony in them with a pretty bow tied around the jar. It would make me so happy to see them during peony season used for them and after that season I would use them for herbs sitting in my kitchen window. Thank you for giving away such awesome gifts Mary. Happy Fourth to your family and hope y’all have fun on the lake🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️
I have some vintage blue Ball jars that belonged to my grandmother. They are precious to me because they were hers. I use them to store various dry goods and they are displayed on my kitchen counter. Right now they house rice and various cracker snacks. I have vintage lids for most of them. But, I am missing two. I wish I knew where I could get replacement vintage lids. I love in NC and love follow your blog. Tha!
Greetings from the midwest, Mary. My local grocery store sometimes has flowers in the ball jars and several times over the past 5 years, I have been able to snag a few. I do indeed use them for flowers but also I have a small apt. kitchen so I use one of the larger ones as a crock on my countertop for my cooking utensils and knives. I have 1 smaller baby ball jar and I do a tea light or votive candle in it. I have long admired your decorating styl and also love your dogs. Thank you for all your inspiration over the last few years.
I would use the jars for flowers on my table and to serve ice tea in them.
I love the wavy glass on these jars. I would use them mainly for flowers although I do have a small collection of pink handled artist brushes which would look wonderful in one of these and would make a much better container for them than the mustard crock I have them in now.
I love the color and would use them for flowers or lemonade
I pinned one of your images to Pinterest
I plan on using them for flowers, flowers and more flowers. Love the color. Ok I might give a couple to my cousin whose favorite color is purple of any shade. Thanks for the giveaway.

Can’t think of a better way to use the pink jars for Mother’s Day flowers for my sweet friends at assisting living. Pinned the beautiful blue and red transfer ware setting , as I also collect and use year round. Using Ball jars is like eating comfort foods from my childhood days – it sparks memories of a kinder, gentler time in history.
Love your blog – so inspiring! Love mason jars – I have a few of my grandmother’s blue jars from when she canned all their veggies.
I always enjoy looking/reading your blog! I love Mason/Ball jars…even antique ones that I have found at resale shops, or at relatives homes that are down sizing. I do can using these jars every summer but use the newer jars. Some other ways I use canning jars are vases, charcuterie boards, organizing sewing items, soap dispensers. I use jars to organize the items my husband takes out of his pockets—- change, business cards, pens and odd & ends.
Love the gorgeous color of these jars. I would definitely use for flower display. I also pinned a pic of the jars.
I posted a picture to Pinterest!
I have used Ball jars for so many things starting with actual canning when I had a large garden to using them for holding buttons and odds and ends, then using them for dry goods in my pantry. Now I still collect them in all sizes and find them at yard sales and thrift stores. This new color would be delightful filled with lavender and other sweet smelling herbs sitting on my bedside table. Just had our bedroom painted a pale shade of lavender. Thanks Mary for all the ideas for using my jar collection.
