Lola is a diva, so she’s proudly wearing a crown like Lady Liberty. . .
And Sophie’s never sure about anything on top of her head!
Her headband weighs two ounces and she acts like it weighs two pounds :)

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO YOU AND THE GIRLS TOO! Sorry this is a day late but I was busy yesterday frying chicken for an all American meal! Fried chicken; mashed taters; gravy; corn; and, iced tea! You’re very lucky those little dogs keep anything on their heads…our CoCo won’t…we’re lucky if she keeps a scarf on! Give the girls a hug and hope your 4th was filled with fun!!!

Mary your fur babies look so cute. My little Jesse James doesn’t usually mind if I deck him out…however, he is getting up in years as he is almost 20 years old, doesn’t see well and can’t hear well and has lost most of his teeth! Cheers for the Red. White, and Blue, and for the two cutest dogs in Blogland! I love seeing these photos, Mary. I pulled up Sadie photos from previous July celebrations. Such fun memories. I never could get her to wear a headband, but I forced a party hat long enough for a photo opp! Your cute patriotic dog bone toy made me smile. I was shopping in Dallas last weekend and had to buy a patriotic dog bone toy. I added it to Sadie’s basket of dog toys, which I’ve never put away. Just like her bed, it’s part of my decor! Happy 4th of July, Mary!

Hi Mary, I hope you had a picture perfect and not-too-humid July 4th celebration! The dog’s headbands are spectacular this year! Half way through the year and I’m already dreaming of fall days and posts of Rod and Rowena. Cheers to beautiful summer season!
