You have taken vegetables to new levels with this post. Your seed box is charming and looks so pretty as part of your tablescape.
The cupcakes are simply adorable. I never would have guessed that the veggies were made from tootsie rolls.

Mary, tell me you didn’t do those cupcakes! Just when I think you can’t get any better you come up with something like this. Would you come to my house and do one such fabulous setting? I’d just leave it there permanently for everyone to pooh and ahhh over! Hope you are getting some boat time in.

OMG….those cupcakes are INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I spent three hours making plain ones with sugar crystals that I shook out of the container, thinking I was such hot stuff! Yours are beautiful! One time Martha Stewart made magnificent butterfly sugar cookies and nothing would do except that I order everything she used…$$$$$…..when it all finally came, I spent 12 hours making those cookies, used every bowl and measuring cup in my kitchen and then needed the Army Corps of Engineers to come clean it all up. The cookies…well….they didn’t look like Martha’s either! It’s far more fun to see what Mary comes up with next! If I could do just one thing so pretty as all of yours!

    Hi Mary,
I really LOVE this table! Your posts and photography are truly magazine- worthy. I now look forward to seeing your posts every week. This table is so great with the view of the lake. In looking at your lawn, I believe you must have the soul of a gardener (and the green thumb too). Those pretty gardening gloves are a perfect touch for this table. I love all the soft greens on the table, the painted pansy goblets, Mr. Rabbit, and your wonderful seed box filled with fresh vegetables. This is so creative.

I’ve signed up to receive your posts via e-mail now. Thanks for sharing this lovely table at the lake. Thanks also for visiting my blog and taking time to leave a comment. I really decided to join that party in the eleventh hour, so the post was very quickly done. Hope you have a great week!

That vintage seed box filled with those gorgeous vegetables, the linens, the bunny, and the cupcakes are extraordinary. I so admire your photography skills that bring all of the tinest details to us. The grandkids are coming soon. I’ve just got to try making those garnishes for the cupcakes.

Hoped over from TTT. I covet your seed box! My sister has one and has agreed to sale it to me when she is ready. Her daughter paid $5 for it at a yard sale. Found one in an antique store but they wanted $175. Your garden gloves are so sweet and add just the right touch. How darling are those cupcakes? So very creative! Thanks for the instructions. I am for sure going to make them sometime in the future!

Mary, sorry to be late to your lakeside garden table. Glad you saved me a cupcake. These are too cute for words. You never disappoint! The veggie decor on the cupcakes almost looks real. I’ve never even heard of midgees. I’m going to look for these, though I’d never get creative like this. Every detail of this setting is FUN. Thanks! ~ Sarah
