Where do you come up with all your ideas! I look forward to every morning to see what you’ve done next! I envy all your talents but sure do appreciate you sharing them with your fans.
You are a superb artist–every line, curve, color contrast is like the kiss of a painter’s brush. Your sense of composition, color, design–I haven’t seen better on the internet anywhere. Thank you for starting my day with such beauty–every single day.
I just love your bicycle! It looks great with the pumpkins and I would have never thought to put Indian corn in the spokes. You are so talented! Thanks for sharing!
How adorable she is & looks like you’re going to have fun dressing her for each season! I’ve always wanted to do this too, but would hear a little voice in my head (husband’s) saying, “We’re supposed to be getting RID of things, not bring them home!”
I love this!!! You have made her beautiful, as always!!! It is another beautiful Fall morning here, after some storms last night. We are off to Longwood Gardens today!!!! You would just LOVE it. I will do a post on it too.
I love the shed, the bike and all the pictures, the wild bittersweet in NE Penna. doesn’t turn orange and pop open till we have a good frost/ freeze, you must have a different kind than PA. does. I look forward to seeing your Blog and it makes me wish I had a pretty shed to decorate.
This is just lovely and the use of the pots, especially that olive bucket!! Love all your pumpkins and bittersweet. Great find and you used it to its fullest.
Love the idea of placing the great pumpkins, etc in the basket…I need to follow your lead and add pumpkins to my bicycle basket…love your Schwinn!!!….back from vacay, so will be catching up on your happenings!!
Wow, I just want to step into the pictures and stroll around the potting shed with a hot cup of pumpkin flavored coffee and, perhaps a slice of Easy Caramel Apple Bar! Your Site is TRULY INSPIRATIONAL! THANK YOU!
And that garden shed just keeps looking better and better! It has so much personality, and I love it. Wish we were next door neighbors so I could look at it all the time. Cannot wait to see it’s Christmas attire! Thanks so much for sharing. Have a lovely day.
Only YOU would think of tucking Indian corn into the spokes of an old bike! So creative, Mary!
It looks like it has always belonged right beside your potting shed. Perfect!
THE perfect addition to your potting shed fun Mary! Old bikes have so much personality, and this one looks right at home here, happily overflowing with pumpkins and vines! I have a feeling you are going to have much fun with your new toy! Love the Indian corn spokes!

Lovely. I have saved an old bicycle myself and am just waiting for an opportunity to use it. I am thinking a garden party, with the baskets all filled with flowers! You have inspired me to get more creative!
I have a perfectly good bicycle that is impossible to pump up Maine’s hilly terrain. Maybe I should pull it out and load it with pumpkins. The tires are already flat, so the load couldn’t do damage!
So cute! Love seeing your creativity. The little pumpkins look too cute in the basket. Love all the different types of pumpkins that are out there these days and I see you have a nice variety of them!
What an inspired idea. I never would have thought of decorating an old bicycle but I am going to try to find one and copy yours. Thanks for the inspiration. I love the bittersweet vine. I wish we could grow it here in Texas. I saw it for the first time while visiting in Kentucky and I love bittersweet. Great post. Thanks.
Mary, I have a question. Is that a barrel behind the bike? It looks like maybe you put some branches on it and then a pumpkin??? I am looking for a way to kind of camoflauge our rain barrel so this might be the trick I need!
I just LOVE your new bicycle built for pumpkins!!! Terrific job!! I wish I was your neighbor!! :)
