Thank you for this lovely Valentine’s Day celebration – a gift to your followers for sure! I collect old kitchen scales and am in love with your red chippy one.

Each picture could invoke a paragraph in a comment. Just delightful! I’m very intrigued by the pretty vintage rose spray can. How old do you think it is? They don’t make things like they used to.

    • February 13, 2016 at 9:49 am

Hi Bonnie, The vintage Tri-ogen rose spray is from the 50s I think. I loved the graphics on the tin. There’s a set with the original box on eBay available here.

  15. February 13, 2016 at 9:45 am

Oh, I liked the chocolate frog too! Made me smile.

Love, love, love everything…especially Prince Froggie and your old scale. My two pooches are curled up with me, and the cat is trying to figure out a spot in my lap too! We are all so blessed to be safe and warm. 💖

    • February 13, 2016 at 9:51 am

Hi Roxanne, You need a bigger lap :) Enjoy all that love! ♥

Aw, Mary! Your little shed is all decked-out for Valentine’s Day, and I *heart* everything about it. Such details! The seeds, chocolate frog prince, and birdhouse with the little heart opening all look adorable with the pretty floral plates. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Carole, I know all about that dang autocorrect :) I wish I could do landscapes too!

Mary, I have not been able to open your recent posts by clicking on the link or copying and pasting the URL in my browser. I am having trouble with yours and Stone Gable blog, but my computer opens everything else without any issue. Just wondering if you both use the same server, or if it is an issue on my end.

I always look forward to your inspiring posts and am so disappointed when I can’t even go in the back door and open your website by googling it.

Thanks for bringing beauty and joy to so many people. I live in Charlotte and have a gardener’s, doggie, lake, and tablescaping heart. Carol

Hi Carol, I’m so sorry you’re having trouble! Have you tried visiting from a mobile device or tablet to see if it’s the browser on your computer? The only thing I know to suggest is to clear your cache or use a different browser and make sure the browser you use is up to date. I use Chrome and have some trouble with IE visiting some blogs. There are directions for clearing your cache depending on your browser here. Also you can find out if your browser is update to date here. Hope you find a solution!

Hi Mary, We all have Home Is Where the Boat is Love! :) Your table is so cheerful and lovely ~~ it reminds me that Spring will spring soon even though it is 7 below zero right now! Prince Frog is a cutie and he must send some friends to live here. We have Frogtown Road nearby where my kids went to school and of course we have a froggy collection from those days. And chocolate frogs are the cutest of all! I used those seeds last summer with very good outcomes (found them at Terrain) and we will be watching for some pretty blooms from your garden soon! Stay warm and I hope you have time with your sweetie on Valentine’s Day. Linda

Love is always blooming in and around your potting shed Mary! Your Valentine tribute to your love of all things garden brings many smiles and happy thoughts. Not only do you have a magic green thumb with flowers, but you create magic with your camera and keyboard too…have a lovely snuggly day ❤️

A beautiful post for a cold Valentine’s Day weekend! Can’t wait for spring and then to plant. Don’t you just love Botanical Interests seed packets? The are so artistic and informational as well. I have ordered them on line before and will be doing so again this year. The candystripe cosmos I ordered a couple years ago were delightful. Stay warm and enjoy the LOVEly day!

Love is in the potting shed every day of the year….and even more on Valentine’s Day!….Just love all of the red accents from the watering can to the red scale…and must say that I am in love with the Frog Prince! Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day.

Your potting shed is growing all kinds of floral things. I love your dotted dishes, the antique scale, the LA gloves/flatware holder, and all of the uplifting eyecandy. Love your narration, too. I hope you escape the rain that’s passing over us right now. It’s a change from the snow, and I think I may prefer the snow, as I can still get outside. LOL Have a good week.

  38. February 17, 2016 at 3:49 pm

I love, LOVE it all; the scale, watering can, flowers, dishes….all of it! I feel the lOVE!!! But then I always do whenever you share your potting shed! Hope you had a great Valentine’s day.
