‘Twas two weeks before Christmas, we’re still decking the halls,

Hanging up garland, to swag on the walls.

The dishes are set on the table with care,

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there.

Enjoying a season of red and green,

Evergreens cut, gathered and gleaned.

St. Nick arrived early, traveling by sleigh,

Taking time out, to stop and play.

St. Nick is a lover of nature you see,

Delivering birdhouses, a bunny at knee.

His sleigh is packed with a tree, bear and drum. . .

An interesting fact, St. Nick has a green thumb.

He fashioned a runner from boxwood and cypress,

Adding mini red ornaments, to provide brightness.

With magnolia, pine cones and berry picks sprinkled,

Mercury glass votives were lit for some twinkle.

Red and green paisley is paired with plaid,

Mixing patterns a delight, making us glad.

Napkins are adorned with leaves of holly,

Held by beaded napkin rings and oh so jolly.

Birds, bunnies and owls~ all gathered near. . .

Joining St. Nick at the table, along with some deer.

All friends of the forest and St. Nick too.

Oh. I love this! I never tire of the winter wonderland of Christmas. The mix of plates is so fun, and the addition of Santa and all the forest touches are wonderful. Paisley and plaids – none better!

Your imitation is awesome. Every season is awaiting your touch in your shed and on your table. We are blessed because of your blessing. Love the new arrangement of The Night Before Christmas.

One of my favorite tables….can’t seem to snag that Santa in our local department store…I can only get if it would be after Christmas sale due to the price. Therefore, they are always gone by the time I get there…you’re so lucky to gave him!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄

I love that Santa sleigh, too. I have a few F&F Santas that appear every year—they are just timeless. Try the Fitz and Floyd website—some of the pieces are reasonably priced right now.

Love that F&F cookie jar (and, of course, the whole tablescape). I keep getting notices of sales and new items from F&F, but there is never really anything new. I’m afraid they are going out of business. Have you heard anything?
