Happy Thursday and Valentine’s Day Eve, also known as Galentine’s Day!
I had plans to share one last table before Valentine’s Day, but several rainy days in a row, making for challenging photography, along with an unexpected afternoon in the dentist chair, threw a monkey wrench in my plans.
I reached way back into the archives for a post to share some ‘love’ around The Potting Shed. It serves as a reminder to surround yourself with things you love on Valentine’s Day, or more importantly, every day.
I hope you enjoy the whimsy and your scroll! ♥

Mary, thank you for the Valentine’s inspiration! I also hope your unplanned trip to the dentist went well. Be well.
A lovely look-back! Have a great Valentine’s Day. Hope your tooth is better; nothing worse than dental discomfort.
I could spend a day in your potting shed just looking at the beautiful plants and china. Also perhaps to read and have a cup of tea – such a restful place. Thank you for sharing the beauty of your home and garden. Happy Valentine’s Day to you!
I so agree with Ann W…..a day in your potting shed would be so delightful! As always your arrangements are 🐝 utiful!
So sorry to hear about the trip to the dentist. My least favorite place to go!
We had so much rain and snow ( lots more rain than snow) that I thought I could swim through the yard. Looking forward to spring!
Peace
Mary, there is so much to love in this post. Your archives are full of beauty and your creativity. I so enjoyed this! Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️🩷❤️
Love the Valentine compilation. That dish pattern is a favorite. The chocolate frog is adorable! Hope the dentist got you all fixed up! Happy Valentine’s Day! Clara❤️
Thank you for the stroll down memory lane with your beautiful tablescapes and creative ideas. Happy Valentines!
Just scrolling through you post this morning was a wonderful way to start my day, rainy as it is. Your lovely photos are always so interesting…so many details to appreciate. And such a promise of Spring! We all need that. Have a nice Valentine’s Day.
Always fun to look back and be inspired. Your potting shed is a lovely place to visit. We are having rainy days too.
Happy Valentine’s Day.🩷
Mary, I have always been envious of your potting shed. The Captain has offered to build me one, but I think his generosity is safe as we just do not have the extra space to build. LOL Thank you for your inspiration. ❤️🥰❤️
What a beautiful potting shed. Wishing you a beautiful day tomorrow for Valentines Day. Hugs. Kris
Happy Valentine’s Day, Mary and family. May you have a sweet fun filled day.
This just proves how good taste is timeless! Wonderful shares, Mary. I love the stamped spoon, the prince frog, and all the dishes and flowers. What a welcome sight on this day. February has already given us one flood threat, now another comes this weekend. Not a very kind love note from Mother Nature!
PS I have pass along love-in-a-mist flowers from my 76 yo sister’s deceased mother-in-law. I had them in my garden, moved & passed along to my daughter; moved back and have them again. One little seed pod goes a very long way!
So much to LOVE, Mary! Thank you for the love that you share in all your special ways. I enjoyed going back in time to revisit your pretty Valentine post, and it’s always a pleasure to be in your potting shed. Happy Valentine’s Day ♥️
Everything looks amazing! My eyes don’t know where to stop because they keep moving from side to side of every picture. I think what tickles me the most here is the Laura Ashley garden glove that holds the flatware. Clever you!
Mary, I love looking back at any and all of your posts. They are each full of inspiration, fabulous eye candy photos, and useful information. Thank you, my friend!
Sorry about the afternoon in the dentist chair. I had to make a surprise emergency visit to the dentist chair myself this week.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and the girls. Happy Weekend! Stay warm. It’s back to freezing here!
Mary, what a treat today look back at your sweet potting shed! So many things that I love like bees, ball jars, and the chocolate frog!! Just a few of my favorites!
Hope your dental appointment wasn’t too bad! I happened to be at my dentist today!!
Never fun but necessary!
Wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Many thanks for all your hard work and most especially for sharing!
Simply stunning and classic! 💖
Mary, I love all your tables and this one in the potting shed is absolutely gorgeous. The plates are lovely and I adore all your sweet accessories. Sorry about the unexpected trip to the dentist but I hope everything turned out well. Happy Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s weekend!
It was, and still is a lovely post, Mary! ❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day!
I always enjoy a visit to your Potting Shed, and what a delightful visit it was! There were so many pretty things to look at and so much inspiration. I could spend all day in this magical place.
I hope your tooth is feeling better.
Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️
Thank you for sharing again! Just beautiful!
That is all so beautiful, Mary. It snowed this morning and left a nasty wet sludge snowcone like ice all over. Not great driving conditions so we are home bound today. I am working on a couple painting crafts. Your post is so fresh – it’s nice to have that early spring inspo. It is so grey and bleak mid winter today. Funny you showed Lies-Lies-Bleeding seed packet – I didn’t know there was a flower called that! But I sooooo cannot get the song Love Lies Bleeding (Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road lp 1975) out of my head. If you’ve never heard it go to YouTube and search for it. GREAT song – long, starts slow and builds a crescendo like nobody’s business. Elton at his finest, in my opinion. After that he got very top 40. But whew that double album will remain one of my Top Tens to be sure. ♫ ♪ ♥ ♫ ♪
