Mary
What wonderful ideas you always have. I am hosting my bookclub in February so you have given me so many ideas….how do I choose? I must go shopping for a sweater for my puppy! Stay warm and safe as this terrible storm approaches. Peace.
What a beautiful post!
I so enjoyed this lovely post. I just love how you mix in old with new and expensive pieces with everyday. It always just comes together. You provide so much inspiration. Thank you!
Good morning, Mary! Your round-up of Valentine’s tables and centerpieces is incredible. There is so much eye candy figuratively and literally. I can’t pick a favorite, each one is fabulous!
I hope you don’t have icy weather and freezing rain. It is possible in our area! Stay warm❤️
Every single one is lovely. So many great ideas and inspiration here. Thanks for sharing. XO- MaryJo
These are all terrific, but I am partial to the love birds bed and breakfast, the soft and romantic, and the love boat. Truly, though, they are all magazine worthy.
Let’s hope we can keep the lights on for the blog hop on Tuesday! We are right on the line of snow somewhere between 0-60″, lol, and ice somewhere between slush and the trees and utility lines fall down around us. Not to mention next week’s frigid temps. I know you’re in the danger zone, as is much of the country from TX and all points east. I was walking today and stopped 3 football players on the campus of the university near our home to line them up for snow removal on Sunday, lol. Easy on our backs and nice way for them to earn some $$!
I wanted to reach out and thank you for all the Valentine’s Day inspiration! I’ve been pinning your ideas for years, and my annual family Valentine tea party is actually inspired by one of your beautiful floral table settings. I also absolutely love the heart-shaped demitasse spoons I found through your blog, they were a huge hit for party favors. Thank you for sharing your creativity!
Mary, I have had such a fun day looking back at your Valentines Day tablescapes. It’s just not possible to choose just one! I’ve used so many of your ideas, recipes, and tips that my family knows my “Mary” touches! You are so generous to share so many helpful and achievable ideas!
Every table you create is such a beautiful display of artistry and inspiration Mary! Thank you for sharing your incredible energy and creativity with us! I can’t believe how fast January is flying by. I need to started pulling out my Valentine’s decor since it will be here in a heartbeat, pun intended. 😉❤️
What a beautiful collection of tablescapes to brighten up this rainy day! From the whimsical details to the playful themes, everything is stunning. It’s hard to choose a favorite when they are all so well-done! Looking forward to your Valentine’s reveal on Tuesday.
Beautiful as always!
Everything is such wonderful inspiration, Mary! I’m always partial to your candy filled vases because they’re so fun and creative. Lola and Sophie are adding their ❤️ sweaters. I did do the rose napkins for friends and they were a hit. Thanks for all the Valentine love. 💕
Hello:
For years I have followed the Painted Apron and have saved all her articles. I loved her home, her beach house, her wonderful decorations, her skill, her wonderful recipes. I admired her immensely. And then I started receiving Home is Where the Boat Is. At first I thought both sites were by the same lady. I Then believe she passed away and I was so sorry to hear that as I loved hearing from her all those years!
Are you related to her? I am a dog lover and for many years my husband and I had a boat which we used in Florida. My first two dogs were toy poodles and while I have had many other dogs in my life, I never did have Bichons. That is what your twins are, right?
I would love it if you could find a moment or two to let me know what happened to that lovely lady and indeed if she was related to you.
Thank you so much.
Most sincerely,
Vickie Neill
Hi Vickie, We were not related, she was a blogging friend. She was a kind and creative soul and very talented. All I know is that she passed away in October after being in rehab and we were all very distressed to hear about her. Yes, we have Bichons, this is our 3 pair that we have had over the years. They have great personalities.
I caught your post on my phone yesterday Mary, but I’m just now getting around to enjoy it on the big screen of my laptop. I’ve been rushing around prepping for the ice and snow headed our way this weekend! Your enthusiasm is contagious and you’ve inspired me to create my own tablescapes for years now. Thank you!
Mary, such a treasure trove of beautiful Valentine tables. I am sure you have inspired many of your readers to create their very own table of love.❤️ I am so looking forward to seeing your table in the Valentine blog hop.
Mary,
I ALWAYS look at your beautiful posts and am absolutely amazed by your style and talent. My late husband was always so sweet on Valentines day. I am thankful for my memories.
God bless you always,
Your beautiful tables never disappoint!
Of all of the tablescapes that I have done over my 16 years of blogging, my Valentine’s Day tablescapes are the ones I like the least. I just never seem to be able to get it together for Valentine’s Day. This year, however, is an exception. I am pretty pleased with it. What you have done here is outstanding! I love everything, particularly those lovely heart-shaped napkin rings. When I first glanced at the bee skep, I thought that was a cake.Ha!
Mary, I enjoyed this compilation so much. I need the inspiration with all the bad weather we’re having at the moment. Once I catch up on my chores, I plan to set a Valentine table. The MC teapot napkin rings are adorable! I love the heart napkin rings as well. I really like the black and white mixed with the red and pink. I’m leaning towards that look for our table. Be safe in this weather. Clara❤️
