We are having a snow storm this weekend. So hopefully, March coming in like a lion will be going out like a lamb!! Here in Indiana, usually by this time we are in the 30s to 40s but this year below zero & snows!! Yes, I too will be glad to say goodbye to February but not sure about hello to March! Anyway, thanks for the reminders of what WILL be coming…I just wish it would hurry! Have a great day!!

It has been a cold, dreary winter in Atlanta. I did a “happy dance” yesterday as the sun was shining and I saw
    a robin!!! Hope “springs” eternal!

All your beautiful pictures of Spring has given me Spring Fever!! I’m ready to clean my front porch, fill the planters with flowers and buy my annual hanging baskets of Boston Ferns. To me there is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the front porch reading book with a cool beverage EXCEPT of course sitting on the beach!! LOL. Keep those posts a-coming…they are a bright light to my day!

Thanks, Mary, that is just what I needed. I am going to return to this posting throughout March to be reminded spring IS coming!

💦 today! At least it isn’t snow. I am ready for spring and to see flowers in my garden! Have a great day and weekend!

It’s hard to think of Spring with all the snow that we have in the Dallas area, Mary. However, thanks to your post, it’s helping me remember that spring will be coming soon. Thanks for your cheery pictures! May you have a happy weekend.

Planted pansies yesterday in all of my pots out front. Been warm but we’re heading for a bit of a rainy cold spell. I’m ready for spring and flowers and swimming and long walks.

Oh, waiting for the warm, sunny days of Spring here too! I can almost smell my peonies while looking at the photo of yours. Your shots have inspired me to go get some forsythia clippings, and force them to bloom. I have to wait until we have a day above freezing, and trudge through 3 feet of snow to get to them though!! Thank you again for the reminder of how Mother Nature rewards us with such a beautiful season, after cold, dreary days.

How can anyone not think of Spring when they see these magnificent photos of Spring inspiration…I am crushing over each and every one and as I type, and look out the window to a sea of snow…I only know that this will all change soon and look forward to the next season of beautiful flowers…but then again, the flowers need to sleep and get energy before they bring their glorious beauty to us!…Have a wonderful weekend Mary!

What a cheery post! Thanks Mary! I am so ready for Spring, too! Its been unseasonably cool here in Florida, but the forecast for the upcoming week is high 80’s! Woo Hoo!!! Cant wait to get out and work in my gardens. I’ll blow some of that warm air up your way! Have a great weekend!!

It’s fun to dream! Right now I am just hoping for above freezing so some of this 3 ft of snow will melt! It will, but March is still a cruel month in NY!
    Lovely post, Mary!

  18. February 28, 2015 at 1:10 pm

Oh how I need some daffodils this year! I always look forward to March Mary, even though it will still be cold and can snow, it signals the beginning of the end of winter to me! Happy Weekend:@)

I love your title — everyone is complaining about the cold/snow/sleet etc. maybe if we all adopted the attitude of living like it was spring things wouldn’t seem so depressing. I did see signs of daffodils sprouting in the yard when I was shoveling snow on Thursday here in Southern Maryland.
    Love your blog. P. Trexler

I am SO ready to live like it IS Spring! I am putting off bringing out the Spring decor til next week cause I am having guests next weekend and don’t want to be in the middle of it. Your pictures make me smile and LONG for Spring, we still have snow on the ground. Hopefully it will all melt on Wed. as it is to go up to near 50 and rain all day. Hope your weekend is going well. Stay warm!!

Your pictures are so gorgeous! I loved the clock with the daffodils. Spring really is coming, even though in New Hampshire we are still looking at 3-4 feet of snow. I’m sure I’ll be looking at your pics to get me through until I can plant pansies in my window boxes! Hurry up Spring!

  25. March 1, 2015 at 8:06 am

I like the way you and Lilly think Mary! Your photos are gorgeous [always] and almost makes me wish we had had more than a snowball amount of snow~I know I am ready to spring forward and get some blooms blooming in my garden, and have some spring green grass growing under my feet~ after last mid week’s winter storm scare we are in the sunny 60s this weekend and living like it’s Spring! I hope our warmth comes your way soon and you can plant some seeds~

    Mary,

Thank you for your lovely posting of daffodils. Looking forward to spring very much. Today is my birthday and we had plans to go out and celebrate. However, our area is experiencing freezing rain so those plans are on hold until it warms up. Enjoy your blog very much as you show such beautiful things to brighten one’s day. Have a wonderful day.
