Happy New Year! Decorations and food ideas are wonderful! As a Pennsylvania girl (who has lived in the South for nearly 20 years) we still must eat pork and sauerkraut on New Year’s Day for good luck. Peace.

No cooking or food prep on NYE for this girl…after the chaos and shenanigans that was Dec 24,25,26 at my house (three under five grands visiting:) Husband has ordered a five course catered meal( for TWO) to be delivered on the 31st. Your suggestions do look tempting though…maybe in a year or two when the silver dragee’s won’t get spit out at each other from the cookies or desserts!! Just enjoying the peace and quiet that is the real gift between the two holidays…hope you are too!
