Good morning Mary, what a delight seeing the potting shed in review was this morning! Through the years your posts have really encouraged my decorating and provided so much inspiration! Even today, as I await family visiting tonight, my home is decorated with signs of winter snow and sparkle – even though we’re in sunny Florida! 🤣 Thank you for your creativity. I enjoy every post! Happy New Year and keep ’em coming!
Always love love your pictures and the Potting Shed. I’ve gotten a lot of info out of your posts….and lots of new flowers/shrubs and herbs…herbs are now my favorite and I’ve been planting more and more of them! Congratulations on your 11th year & hope I’m around for the next 11! OMG! That will make me 90! If I can still garden when I’m 90, I’ll be very happy!!! ❤️🎉🎂🎁🍾🥂🌹🌺🌻🪻🌷
I SO enjoyed this post. Reading all about plants and gardening is what I love doing most after all the Christmas stuff is put away! Each month was full of great info and DIYs, not to mention great tablescapes and floral arrangements. I’ll be ready after a couple months to get back out there, but with 21° in the am (that’s what we had too), I’m happy to just review pictures and dream of longer, warmer days. I hope you can enjoy some downtime too.
Mary, what a year in your potting shed! It’s hard to pick a favorite but I do love everything Halloween. Your shed is like a playhouse for birds, bees, forest friends, china lovers and gardeners. I’m not much of a gardener so I really enjoy your step by step instructions and tips. I learn something from each and every post. I can’t wait to see what’s new in the potting shed this year.
It’s hard to believe we’ve been drooling over your potting shed for 11 years now. I wonder how many people you have inspired to get their own potting shed. I’m one who has wanted one for 11 years and counting. Maybe this will be the year. Your posts about your shed, gardening and seasonal decor are always my favorites. Well, and your recipes, too. Your blog always delights.
Your creativity definitely blooms in and around your potting shed Mary! Such a fabulous flower filled 2023! Last year’s Valentine Love Birds tablescape is one of my favorites, so creative and appropriate for you! Of course it’s hard not to love all things bunny and your love and spreading your knowledge of bees is so important. I love how you decorate for the different seasons and of course seeing the flowers in your beautiful garden! Chilly here too, January is not my favorite month :) Thanks for the look back!
Jenna
Thank you for sharing such perfect beauty with us!
Mary, It’s hard to believe the potting shed is 11! It’s a beautiful, artistic place to enjoy. I’m in awe of your window boxes. They’re always gorgeous! The various holidays are celebrated with pretty dishes, ceramics, etc. I’m ready for spring! The cardinal Valentine post is so colorful as are the other holidays featured. I love the roundup! Take care. We’re to get rain today which we need. The gloominess was lifted with this happy post! Have a great day! Clara❤️
I’m always amazed and inspired with your gardening skills and so enjoy my favorite potting shed throughout the months. I wish I had your magic touch in the garden! Thank you for sharing the beauty with us. ❤️ 💐 ❤️
What a gorgeous summary of your year around the Potting Shed Mary! I have shed-envy everytime you share a post with your sweet shed. Your creativity and photography skills wow me at every turn. Wishing you a beautiful blooming new year with no cane borers! 🌸
Like everyone else, I have a hard time believing your shed turned 11 this past year! So much inspiration, creativity and beauty in such a tiny footprint! Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the coming year. 🌸🐝🦋💐💗
That was so fun to join you each month, I remember when you first built this and all the joy you shared each year! Cheers to another ten years of creativity!
Mary, such a treasure trove of beautiful posts all about your lovely potting shed. So fun to look back and read each one. You have managed to decorate and create for so many themes. I love each one, so difficult to select a favorite.❤️. Your love of gardening, birds and bees shines through in the most creative way. Always a pleasure to view your lovely posts 👏
Beautiful photos. Thank you for the cheer you bring into our homes each week.
Happy New Year
What a feast for the eyes this summary is, Mary. Downright talent and ingenuity make
each inclusion so inspiring and – sorry to admit – enviable. Talk about a green thumb….
I follow your blog with joy and anticipation of what is to come next, as you make each holiday radiate.
What a beautiful and creative year.
Mary, on a cold rainy day, in and around your potting shed brings sheer delight and so much beauty to a January day! Eleven years of creativity through all the seasons is a milestone that all of us who have followed can celebrate. I enjoy each spring, summer, and fall tabletop design. I am most appreciative of your knowledge of gardening, all things bees, and the fun hacks that inspire.
Wishing you many more years of enjoyment in you potting shed and gardening. I can’t wait to see what you share with us in 2024❤️
What a lovely year it’s been in the potting shed, Mary!! Thank you for all the joy and beauty you bring into my life!!! Happy New Year, my friend!! ❤️
Ahh Mary – so beautiful! I love your creativity in everything that you do but I take so much joy in the potting shed. Each and every one of these posts are gorgeous and your photos are definitely magazine-worthy. I could spend hours here… Thank you so much for all that you do and all the inspiration that you share! Happy New Year to you and looking forward to 2024!
Dear Mary, Your blog has been such an inspiration to me! I garden in a very different zone (10b), but am still trying to get a Limelight to grow! Your tablescapes are my very favorites. I just put away my BH&G Christmas salad plates which I used for over a month over the holidays for breakfast and lunch. I was inspired to get them after seeing the adorable Reindeer pattern, and have collected a few other favorites since then. I am so sad that they seemed to have discontinued them :-(. I use Sophie the bunny salad plates in springtime, purchased from Pier 1 before they went out of business. I love garden tours and have visited many gardens, but if I had my druthers, I would put yours at the top of my list! Thank you so much for the time and attention to invest in every beautiful post!
