Candy corn and those white chocolate peanut butter pumpkins
Well your blog pics are sooo well done! Great giveaways!!! And so many chances!!! I’m actually not a Halloween person, but my sister in law REALLY is!!!! She wears a Witch tee shirt and loves Wizard of Oz!! This would be right up her alley so I’m entering and would give my winnings to her. My favorite candy would be mini 3 Musketeers. And I’m subscribed to your blog for a long time now.
Mary,
Love, love, love your giveaways!
My favorite Halloween candies are candy corn and peanut butter kisses wrapped in orange or black paper. I could eat the whole bag!
Give me those pumpkin shaped (or any shape for that matter) Reese Cups all day long! I adore Halloween. It’s just full of fun and tongue-in-cheek decorations.
My favorite treats to have for halloween, besides like traditional candy such as mr.goodbar or pumpkin or ghost shaped reeses pb cups is 2 things we make every year as a tradition. One is roasted pumpkin seeds with oild and salt. My grandma loved this so when she passed years ago we continued the tradition. The second is the one thing only my husband can make for us, its homemade chex mix. Not with a seasoning pack either. He gets the 3 diffrent cereals and together and mixes them up with other ingredients and cooks them. Its always a yummy treat we sit down to after trick or treating has ended and we watch Garfields halloween.
Also pinned a picture and am already a subscriber to your post via email!🖤
We do Halloween in a big way in my family! I have a few favorites – popcorn balls and peanut butter cups are my go-tos, but my absolute favorite is my sister’s rosemary apple galette. It’s made with all the love and it’s the most special treat!

Snickers bars and caramels are the best at Hallowe’en. It’s fun to hand them out to the “little ones” who Trick or Treat. It’s always treats at my house. Happy Hallowe’en
What fun! I like pretty much all sweets but an absolute old-time couple of favorites are homemade cinnamon sugar doughnuts (my mother taught school so we only got these when we had “snow-days”), caramel apples, caramel corn and popcorn balls. With today’s emphasis on safety, I don’t give these to trick-or-treaters anymore but do make them for church treats since our small congregation knows each other. I hand out individually wrapped chocolate candies – a favorite is Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Maybe, I’m a little crazy. But I used to spill the Halloween candy bag and save all of the MaryJanes! I just love them!!

We will definitely be making the peanut butter spider cookies this year as Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are our all time favorite candy. I have followed you on Pinterest for quite some time and subscribe to your blog too. You have provided so much inspiration for our parties and get-togethers through the years. In preparation for this year’s Brew Ha-Ha, I have pinned lots of your recipes to my boards Halloween Spirit~Sweets & Treats~, and Halloween Spirit~ Witches Brew Tea Party~ (@Jane’s Victorian Home). In the absence of Halloween parties here, I’ve passed along most of my Halloween dishes to my niece. She and her friends host a big Halloween party each year, so thought it would be appropriate to let a new chapter of the Black Hat Society use these fun dishes. The Black Hat Society… OH, this does warm my heart!! Having ones birthday the day before Halloween and your best friends actually on Halloween I developed a strong interest in early adulthood towards Witchcraft. Although my darkest is Very dark grey, the BLACK Hat lends that added spark to the occasion. Over the years I have always loved warm, mini Donuts tossed in a bag with cinnamon & sugar, homemade Carmel apples, my Pumpkin meltaway cookies (to die for), and as far as “candy”… I have to say Butterfinger, Snickers, Hershey’s miniatures, and Reese’s.
Candy corn of course! Mixed with cocktail peanuts even better! 👻🧙♀️
Oh Mary, this is just an amazing post! So much fun for the eyes to see and enjoy! My favorite Halloween candy when I was young was anything chocolate! However, as I grew older I realized chocolate was triggering my migraines. So as an adult it’s either skittles or starburst. I’m already a subscriber via email and love all your blogs! 💛🍂🧡🍁❤️

I really love candy corn, Clark candy bars, Reeces PB cups, Snickers and Milky Way bars. I can’t just settle on one favorite thing.
I so enjoyed this post. We do a Fall/Halloween party every year for the grandkids mostly (wink, wink). There’s so much fun in the prep and doing. You have such a lovely party here! Great ideas! I just found your blog a few weeks ago; glad I did! My favorite Halloween candy is still the same today as it was as a kid. I would get home, have all of my goodies approved and off I’d go to sort it by types. The chocolate pile always won hands down!!! 🥰
Hi Mary,
Spooktakular giveaway and what a great way to kick off the season! I chose to pin three photos: 1) Your girls on the porch setting the mood for the season, 2) your centerpiece with candy corn-filled vase and peeps on “stems”, and 3) one of your giveaway offerings. I think I have already pinned all your other photos!
Oh my word, Mary, you are so generous with your giveaways. I am thankful to still be enjoying a past Halloween giveaway of yours. You make people happy with your kindness. 🎃👻🎃
My favorite treat would be the fresh apple pie we pick up from one of the farms up at Apple Hill, a popular farming community in our area that goes all out for fall. Last year I bought only half of a pie for my husband and I. This year I’m buying a whole pie, and perhaps a second one for the freezer.
Wait, maybe Apple Hill’s fresh apple cider doughnuts are my favorite. Not sure. I’d better do a taste test this year…just to be sure. Wink-wink!
Beautiful post and what amazing gifts! You always do everything so nice.
My favorite all time Halloween treat is Mrs. Brown’s Popcorn Balls. When I was a little girl Trick or Treating in the neighborhood she always made them every year from scratch. Wrapped in wax paper and tied with string. I can only imagine how many she made each year. They were the best! My cloth Halloween trick or treat bag smelled like them each year when we got it back out.
I’d give anything to have one now. But, a good Reese’s Peanut Butter cup will do in a pinch.
What a fun post! You are so creative and your photography is amazing!
I enjoy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as Pumpkins. I pinned several of your Halloween pictures to my Favorites Blog Board on Pinterest. Such hauntingly adorable ideas! Thank you!
Happy Halloween!
Your puppy’s are so cute Carmel apples
What fun! And the cutest Halloween crafts!!! When I was a kid, many moons ago, my Mom would get yummy donuts. Then I always did the same for my kids. So my treat, donuts it is and Apple cider! But I must say I am thinking of making the popcorn treat for a party. Just LOVE the pics and the creativity. Going to pin that recipe!
My favorite candy will always be the seasonal Reese’s peanut butter cups. For some reason they just taste better. I have been a regular subscriber for years, at least 7, and I have pinned one of your fabulous pics. From your neighbor in Clemmons,NC.

I LOVE Halloween! My favorite candies this time of year are all the seasonal mini’s like Reese’s, Kit Kats, and Hershey’s assorted bars, my daughter and her friends have all graduated from college, but they still come over often and i still have a large bowl of peanut M&M’s on the spooky entry table. I have enjoyed your blog for years. BOO!
