Oh Mary….most of my life I was a total summer person …no weather was too hot but as I approach 70 I am an autumn gal. I look forward to cooler not cold weather, the changing leaves, pumpkin annything and of course Halloween! I finally made a trip to Home Goods and found so many things to buy. I got an adorable witch tea pot! I will definitely being going back.
GM Mary,
Memories, Memories, oh such sweet memories of Falls gone by. Gardening and bringing Fall colors in to the home to enjoy during the season. As I have traveled the years on your blog, these reads have always inspired me during my early coffee breaks. Thanks for bringing this coming Fall into Full Color!!! Enjoy your Fall gardens!! Think I will get out today and get some weeding done!
Gorgeous table settings!! I am definitely an autumn girl
Some I’d seen, ALL are BEAUTIFUL!! Fall is going to happen…franki
Good morning, Mary! You have showcased so many stunning autumn tablescapes for us to admire. I usually love summer, but this one seems to have been a little taxing with the miserable heat. I am definitely ready for cooler temps and the pretty colors of autumn. You have inspired me with all of your beautiful florals and table settings. Happy Thursday!
Mary, I’m definitely a fall person. I love cooler weather. Your compilation is wonderful. We’re getting a respite from the weather today, but back in the furnace tomorrow. I do so enjoy having a couple days of lower humidity though! I’m ready for a steady season of cooler weather! Enjoy your day. Clara❤️
Mary, I have loved autumn the most for as long as I can remember. Your tables inspire me and each one is magazine worthy. I love alfresco dining next to your lake. I could never choose a favorite, they are all equally charming. Happy Thursday 🧡
Shared your blog on Beautiful Table Settings of America on Facebook. I think they will like it as much as I do.
Oh Mary, you have me longing for pumpkins, cool temperatures and cozy fall comfort food! All your tables are stunning, I especially love the ones with the blooming pumpkins and the one with the copper tub filled with faded hydrangeas. I’m looking forward to all the wonderful tables next week!
Jenna
Mary, I can almost feel the crisp cool fall days through your beautiful post today. So many lovely settings and ideas to explore. I’m sure I will be pinning quite a few! I cannot choose a favorite, but I am smitten with the whimsical forrest animals!
Mary, thank you for the inspiration for Fall tables. I admire your usual attention to detail and how you manage to get all your pieces to lakeside or boatside without a moving truck. 🥰. I used to use a little wagon to haul my dishes to sites away from the house…sometimes a bump would eliminate a piece due to improper packing 🥴 but then I would have to haul it all back and put away. LOL. (The Captain helps me put away groceries and such because of my lack of energy). I say all that to say this, You have unique pieces and arrange them so beautifully that I have dish envy. I would love to sit at any one of your lovely tables and enjoy the view of your wonderful lake and gardens. I especially love your copper pieces and hydrangeas. Fall is on it’s way and you are definitely ready for any theme. Have a great day.
FALL is my favorite color!
Yay! This post must mean that autumn is coming. Mary, autumn is my very favorite season, and I am so looking forward to it. Every one of your tables is stunning, beautiful colors, flowers and themes. Like our dear friend Pam, I can’t choose a favorite either, they are all inspiring!
I’m so looking forward to our September Monday Morning Blooms-
Wishing you a blessed Thursday, Xo Lidy
Mary your constant inspiration is so wonderful and I so enjoy your postings. I just love autumn and I appreciate all you do to keep us inspired. Bless you. Mary DD
I am definitely with you – fall is my favorite time of year!! I’m looking forward to the fall tablescape blog next week!!
Beautiful!!!!
Mary, what a wonderful review of your lovely fall tables. You continue to be such an inspiration to me and setting my own tables. Looking forward to fall myself. This cooler week here in the NC Piedmont has been a sweet reminder if what’s to come.
O Mary dear, you are such an inspiration. One setting more captivating than the other. Yes,
Autumn with its golden hues and
mellow spirit beckons a Summer
weary soul to pause and take in
the harvest jewel colors that abound
and to enjoy the pace of harvest-time. We are so fortunate you invite
us to share….
Such beauty through each scroll. I love every table and centerpiece. There are so many lovely tablescapes that belong in a magazine.
I am a summer girl, but we have had some cool temps, which gives me the Autumn Feels.
Thank you for the beautiful inspirational ideas!
Mary, you have inspired us all with your lovely autumn tables, whether it’s on a boat, a deck or some place by the lake. Each one is stunning. It’s been such a hot and miserable summer, I welcome an early autumn with open arms. I am looking forward to joining you on Tuesday for the Welcome fall tablescape blog hop.
Mary, these tables are all so beautiful and the centerpieces are gorgeous – each and every one of them. I would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite, but the setting on the pontoon definitely made me smile! I’m typically on the fence about the arrival of fall – our season is usually so short here that fall means that winter is coming and that is definitely not my favorite season. I’m glad your fall season is decently long – the kind I dream of! Happy almost fall to you and thanks for all the inspiration!
How beautiful. If we only had spring and fall, I would be happy. Winter isn’t much here. Summer is brutal. Is the big tree by the lake the one you took down ?
I totally agree Myrna! I’m ready to kick August and summer to the curb :) Yes, we’re missing our tree and the shade it provided.
Thank you for all the magical creativity of your beautiful Fall tables, Mary. I’m so ready for temperatures to go below 100, that this coming week’s of 90’s will feel like some relief. Have a wonderful Sunday! ❤️
Hi Mary ~ yes, I love fall most of all ! Our leaves have definitely started to do their color dance up here in the Litchfield Hills of CT. We have had some lows at night in the 40’s which starts the show. Absolutely loved your blog post. Just when I’m sure you can’t top yourself, you do. Cheers to fall, Dorinda 🍁
